Guitar Hero Metallica Track List Revealed

On the new version of the Guitar Hero franchise, comes “Guitar Hero: Metallica“. And the track listing has just been revealed. I know, like three days ago. I’m not a big fan of Metallica as much as I used to be. I’m still holding out for “Guitar Hero: Led Zeppelin” or “Guitar Hero: Songs That Don’t Suck“.

Here’s the track listing for the songs by Metallica as well as other bands. I’m stoked to see some older Metallica on the list, as well as Motorhead’s best song, “Ace of Spades”, Suicidal Tendencies, and Slayer.

Call me old school, but they can take their “No Leaf Clover” and stick it up Lars Ulrich’s assets.

Favorites: Battery, Creeping Death, Disposable Heroes, Master of Puppets, and Sad But True.
The Suck: Frantic, Fuel, All Nightmare Long.
My Beefs: Where’s “Gotta Kill Captain Stupid” by Suicidal Tendencies and “Angel Of Death” by Slayer?

    I agree, Gene Simmons has put the KISS name on everything else, so why not Guitar Hero, too? I’d buy that for sure.

    I think they should have just done an all OLD Metallica Guitar Hero … the new stuff stinks and has for years. But being a true (OldSkool)Metallica fan this makes me somewhat happy !!!

    I think guitar hero slipknot would be pretty hardcore. The drumming would be really hard though

    Slipknot would be alright, but if you remember Before I forget on gh3, it would be hard as hell. I can promise though, Queensryche would be THE most Badass guitar hero game regarding the guitar. The could throw in some Alice In Chains or some other types of metal. You could even say a Guitar Hero: Heavy Metal in general if you want harder songs etc.

    Avenged Sevenfold would be alright, but It’d get old seeing as they have very few albums.

    Guitar Hero: Iron Maiden please, that’d be a beastly game.

    Cyanide is on the Guitar Hero – Metallica edition for PS2. I’d choose Van Halen over Led Zepplin just because it’d be more challenging, though I am a big fan of Zepplin.

    Regarding Roberta and everyone else talking about Slayer – The song Angel Of Death was at first supposed to get onto the tracklist for GH – Metallica. Neversoft had recording issues with the song because of the need for a master recording. So, instead of Angel of Death making it onto the game, War Ensemble made it instead.

    Guitar Hero Rush would kick ass, but the drums would be near impossible. Neil Peart is a god! if you don’t agree, listen to Yyz.

    Guitar Hero: Iron Maiden or Guitar Hero: Osbourne would be pretty darn cool. Maiden has some amazing songs and ones that would be fun to play, especially one like Phantom of the Opera. Guitar Hero: Osbourne would be cool if they did something like some Black Sabbath (with Ozzy) and Ozzy's tracks. Perry Mason would be the coolest song to play ever! Just listen to the guitar in it and the solo especially. Definitely a final tier song, but I would have so much fun playing it, especially since it's my favorite Ozzy song.
