Jessica Simpson tries to sell crappy bracelet to 'celebrate the troops' - PhotoJessica Simpson tweeted that we should all “Celebrate the troops today with the ‘With all my heart bracelet’” and then provided us with a link to her website. Upon checking her site, I was greeted with this .50 creation.

It looks like it was made by some granny worked in a sweat shop, doing macrame with some funky trinkets. Seriously, she used parachute cord? And she thinks would be an awesome way to celebrate Veteran’s Day? Is she retarded? No, really, is she???

What a waste of $20.00 for anyone who buys this mess. I could craft something cheaper out of shoe laces and a pop cap and come up with something better.

I think it’s kind of cool.

Roberta, certainly you must know that retarded doesn’t mean stupid. When you ask if Jessica Simpson is retarded you trash people with special needs. You’re implying that people with mental retardation are the only ones who would sell bracelets like that. Do you think that all people with special needs are alike? Geez. How demeaning and insulting can you get. Maybe you should consider going out and volunteering your time at Special Olympics. Do something important in your life instead of writing trash and pretending that it’s important. Shameful. Give me Jessica Simpson any day over someone ignorant and thoughtless.

I AGREE! HOW SHAMEFUL TO RESORT TO NAME CALLING. GET A LIFE AND STOP MAKING FUN OF PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS.

I’m special needs, how do you think I feel?

100% of the proceeds go to "the armed forces children's education fund"

Its basically a $20 donation. I think it's a great way to support our troops.

The reason it's made from that material is because that's 550 cord that all service members make THOSE bracelets out of overseas. WE all wear them, and give them to eachother as tokens of respect and loyalty. Jessica's is even more thoughtful because she makes a donation to children of servicemembers killed in action. How dare YOU make comments like this Roberta? What in the world do you know about veterans or BEING a veteran. Just be thankful that WE serve so you can make uneducated, unprovoced, unneccessary remarks such as the above. You're welcome.

Suck it hater, my family is full of veterans. Your comment is uneducated. She's no veteran, yet she was trying to make money off "the cause". Ugh.

You should probably read the back story on WHY it’s made with parachute cord. Plus, who cares what it’s made out of? It’s going for a good cause. Get over it.
