Jordin Sparks Wants To Duet With Adam Lambert

Former season six “American Idol” winner, Jordin Sparks says that she wants to do a duet with season eight runner-up, Adam Lambert.

Sparks revealed her collaboration idea, calling Lambert’s voice “out of this world”.

She adds, “Not since Freddie Mercury or Steven Tyler has there been a voice like his. It would be really cool to do something with him and maybe release my inner rockstar.”

Sparks also praised “American Idol” season one champ, Kelly Clarkson as a role model in how she’s conducting her career.

She says, “I’d love to do something with Kelly Clarkson because she’s been a monumental influence on me. I love how she handles her celebrity. She’s not in the tabloids a lot but everyone knows and respects her because she’s got an amazing voice. That’s something I aim towards.”

Sparks also revealed that she views original Idol Kelly Clarkson as a role model in conducting her pop career.

    Everyone loves to duet with Adam. I love to duet with him too, but I am just a karoake singer type. Maybe I karaoke duet with Kris, but he’s boring. I’ll just sing with my co-workers in the club, I think its more fun.

    Of course everyone wants to work with Adam….he CAN sing, he is flamboyant, theatrical and a lot of fun to watch (and listen to). For those of you that CANNOT sing….Adam could really cover that up. For the others…he would help make a great duet. If you were to collaborate with Kris….you better really have a voice…because it will really be evident if you don’t….Kris is a great AI….he is going to do great. (Adam will too for that matter.) They are apples and oranges. Enough with the comparisons already…two completely different styles. America voted…they could not get it wrong this year. In the long run, Adam will be relieved not to have won. He is going to be able to do his thing right away rather than having to stay within the confines of the AI label, producers, handlers, etc. People….stop hating!

      you want to avoid comparisons because it is very obvious who has the powerful voice. Sorry, the truth hurts.
      One more thing, you said stop hating. Do you realize how disgusting it is to know that kris fans cheated just for him to win. Cheater!

    Oh…and…several celebrities have said that they want to work with Kris….including Jamie Foxx. And, by the way, Gene Simmons of KISS said that he would NOT want to work with Adam again….so, everyone has an opinion….

      Gene Simmons said he would welcome Adam to join his tour as an opening act, he never said he would not want to work with Adam, he just said that Adam’s voice is not a rocker voice, suitable for QUEEN but not for hard rock like KISS. He agreed that Adam is one of the most talented contestant on AI check genesimmons.com
      Adam and Kris are talented and humble and gracious and respect each other. Can their fans to the same?

He’s a true superstar and doesn’t need a microphone-shaped trophy to validate his incredible talent. Adam, rock on on your own! And keep pissing off the media!

      Are you annoyed that Jordin did not choose Kris, but rather choose the runner-up… OH Jealous.Jealous. You have to accept it…from the very beginning Adam has been the favorites, & his fans are not only the world but also those celbrities who belong sto high class society, so jealous , thats the reason why some hates him…jealousy.. but even if you twisted the final result by cheating…the real winner still will prevails

    Ms Sparks might not be a great singer but at least she is not stupid. We’ll see what becomes of Mr Lambert. Hope he can deal with all hatred and envy from segregated America. Fortunately the US is not only Kansas and everybody isn’t hateful fundamentalist “pro-life” killers. ;-/

    Why do some Americans say a lot of bad things about Adam? He is a great talent that Americans should really, really be proud of. I am from the Philippines and so many love Adam here. We accept who he is, that doesnt matter to us. What matters to us here is true talent, and that is ADAM LAMBERT!

    I am glad to know that people in the Philippines love Adam Lambert. We love him here too and we are here to support him all the way. That is why it sooo shocking to know what AT&T did to the show. A lot of my friends told me that American Idol was rigged before. Now, I believe them!
