I am no Katy Perry fan, that’s for sure. But her performance on Wednesday night’s “American Idol” was the last nail in the coffin for me.

She took the stage in something that looked like a swimsuit with a red and white cape with the words “Adam Lambert” on the back of it. Some awful rehashed Elvis costume, I’m sure. The King is rolling over in his grave as we speak.

It was truly awful. It was said by some of her fans that she was sick, so I’ve heard, but that’s when she should’ve canceled her appearance on the show. Besides that, she performed “I Kissed A Girl” on MTV last year and she sounded horrendous then, too.

And what was the “Adam Lambert” sprawled across her back all about? Think when her career flops, she’ll need someone to call to pull her out of the gutter?

Maybe sickness isn’t to blame after all? Maybe she just sucks.
