Kelly Clarkson has announced her third single from “All I Ever Wanted” as “Already Gone”. The pop singer was performing last night with Jay-Z when she told the crowd the official news.

In case you haven’t heard the track yet, you can listen to it below:

She’s already released “My Life Would Suck Without You” and “I Do Not Hook Up” as singles from the album, do you think this is a good third choice?

I think it is somewhat smart b/c it was her highest rated song on iTunes, but I think she should’ve picked a better ballad, personally. She could’ve picked “Cry” or “Ready” or “If No One Will Listen.”

Don’t Let Me Stop You is the better choice… more radio friendly…. easy to sing along with… great pop rock song.

I think she made the best choice ever!!! I was waiting so anxiously for this song to be a single!!!

    Grammy worthy….

This is a good song but should not be a single because there is a much better ballad on her album called Cry. Lets face it, Cry has Kelly all over it and Already Gone just sounds like One Republic.

Who says she chose the song? Apparently because Tedder contributed so heavily to the album, the label (not Kelly) made an agreement to make the best of his contributions a single. But whatever, it’s still a good song and I’m sure Cry will be released afterwards.
