Madonna granted adoption of Mercy James

Madonna has won her bid to buy another child adopt Mercy James from Malawi.
She appealed to a lower Malawian court to reconsider her plea to adopt James and it was granted.
The southern African state’s Chief Justice Lovemore Munlo said, “In our view, Chifundo James would be better taken care of if she was adopted by foreign parents who will give her love and affection. We therefore grant the adoption.”
The Malawian judge was also said to have taken into consideration Madge’s commitment to giving Malawian orphans an improbed standard of life.
Madonna was said to be “ecstatic” about the news. Her lawyer said, “It’s the wee hours of the morning in New York but she is excited at the news. As her lawyer I am happy this has settled this contentious issue.”
He is currently getting her passport ready for the trip to the States to be with Madonna and her family.
