Yesterday, while visiting friends on Eastern Long Island, Madonna was horseback riding, when she fell off of her horse.
Madge was riding in the Hamptons yesterday afternoon, and after her fall, was taken to a local hospital. The injuries are reportedly not serious, with Madonna having minor scrapes and bruises.
Madonna’s rep is saying that the incident was caused by a photographer who jumped out of the bushes, eager for a picture of the singer.
The statement says, “Madonna who was thrown off a horse earlier today has just been released from Southampton Hospital with minor injuries and bruises…The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer who was visiting friends on Eastern Long Island over the weekend. Madonna will be having further tests and continues to remain under observation by doctors.”
