miley-cyrus-every-rose-has-its-thorn Oh noes! If you are a child of the eighties, like I am, then this is some dismal news. Apparently Miley Cyrus thinks she’s got the chops to cover 80′s rock ballad, “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”.

Her mom, Tish, said, “‘Every Rose’ is one of her all-time favorite songs and she is really excited about cutting it.”

It’s too bad really that she can’t “cut it”. Maybe she should just stick to singing crappy country and tween crap instead of butchering the classics like this.

Wow, you’re a bitch. Do you really think Bret Micheals would have let her cover the song if he thought she didn’t have the chops? He even goes on to say that she nailed it and that she’s one of the few musicians who can make it their own and make it work. Her cover of “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll” was spot on, I know she has the chops for “Every Rose,” “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” and anything else. So what, her claim to fame was on the Disney Channel as Hannah Montana, She’s one of the few, true musicians with talent in the industry. Once she makes her transition from Hannah and pop to rock and more serious roles you and every other over critical prick will be the ones playing the fool! Rock on Miley!
