It seems Portugal’s youth aren’t too keen on Nickelback because someone started throwing rocks at the stage during their set (in what I can only assume was part of a larger concert with bands the Portuguese actually wanted to see).

But I guess someone didn’t appreciate Chad Kroeger‘s remarks to the crowd (“Have we got any Nickelback fans in Portugal?”; crowd seems to say no, or boo; “You guys wanna hear some rock and roll or go home?”; the answer came in the form of a rock to the noggin, at which point Chad rolls out).

I know a crowd can be hostile, but if you’re going to get stage in front of me and act like such a big baby and pretend that you have the power to send me home, I’ll probably throw something too (a rock seems harsh).
