wes-scantlin-injures-footPuddle Of Mudd was in New York City to promote the December 8th release of their new album, “Volume 4: Songs In The Key Of Love And Hate”, when singer Wes Scantlin injured his foot.

Scantlin said, “I was kind of hoping it was more serious than it is. I was told this type of fracture is seen a lot in athletes – I fractured mine simply hopping off a stool after our appearance on the radio show Rockline.”

The rocker injured his right foot’s fifth metatarsal bone on Monday, forcing him to reschedule a series of interviews that were set for Tuesday.

He added, “So much for a sexy explanation of what happened. We will be turning that up a bit when we head back to Los Angeles for our Gibson-sponsored album release party featuring their new Dusk Tiger guitar.”

The event is set for Monday, December 7th and if fans want to be a “fly on the wall” at the event, check out the band’s UStream channel here.

Get well soon, Wes!
