Rapper Pitbull cleared of DUI charge

pittbull_cleared_of_duiRapper Pitbull has been found not guilty after being arrested for driving under the influence in 2007. He was reportedly speeding down a highway at 93 miles per hour.

The police officer took the stand last Wednesday, testifying that Pitbull had refused to step out of the car, but when he did, he failed a series of field sobriety tests.

Pitbull said, “I was targeted because I am a celebrity.”

He was acquitted on July 9, 2009. I don’t think he’s that big of a celebrity that the police would be like, ‘Let’s get that guy, I know who he is.’” Do you? Think he got lucky?

    Sounds like an incredible spate of luck for him. You or I would have been locked up and run through the system for sure.

    Then again, I don’t risk drinking and driving (any more).
