We’ve just received news that British comedian Russell Brand will once again host the MTV Video Music Awards.
Ryan Seacrest just tweeted the news:

I wonder if he’s going to target the Jonas Brothers again like he did last year?
Update: A friend of Brand’s says, “He is over the moon. It’s the first time ever that the same host has been used for two consecutive years, which means a lot to him. He has had to promise not to offend the Jonas Brothers again though.”
