    The voice is unmistakably Whitney…… the song itself is a very new sound for her and for pop. Its got a retro disco thingy ….. which is a new trend that we will hear more of soon….. Shakira’s She – Wolf is another example of this sound. Its very fresh sounding without making a fool out of Whitney by trying to “fit in”. I just have to ask this question …….. how do we think this stands up to Mariah’s Obsessed? Just curious?

      this is much better than mariah’s tricked out “obsessed” whitney has lived now you can hear it in her voice… it is amazing. i love it. she sounds like a touch b*tch and that is a good thing. now, mariah can sing too, lets be fair- but this is music.

        Oh I Love this MUCH MORE than I liked “Obsessed” by Mariah Carey. This is an actual song with lyrics, real musicians and real singing. Whitney Houston is the Real Deal, the QUEEN. Mariah Carey has always been a “2 notches below” Whitney and the Cute Hooker look that Mariah does is SO OLD. Time for the Queen Diva to return. Welcome back Whitney Houston!

    finally! something different, something cool, something fresh..shes revived the 70s era with a twist, its brilliant! she sounds so good! this has to be a hit, lets get this in the charts! NUMBER ONE

    just 1 thing i picked up though…at the beggining when she says her second ‘OH’ it sounded like there was a glitch in her voice…might just be me, but if it isnt its down to poor editing.

    I’ve honestly fallen in love with this song!!! And I love Whitney, but I wanted to be fair. So even before i heard the song, I wanted to hate it!! But the energy and emotion and her voice was too powerful!! It won me over!! I’m glad it did!!

    Although this is not old Whitney, it is far closer to Whitney than those sappy tracks “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” and “I Look To You.” Swizz and Alicia did the thing on the track this is some old school Philly Soul going on here.

    I’m sorry but whoever likes this song must be either stupid fanatic or deaf. Where is vocal clarity? Where is that unmistakable Whitney tone? GONE All I hear is raspiness and cracking voice already when she TRIES to hit the first and last big notes in the song at the beginning…

    This song is HOT! Written by Alicia Keys, so between the two of them, magic has definitely happened! It’s great to hear a song that doesn’t require Auto-Tune. I love the retro sound and feel. Especially with the undoubted remixes to come, the dance floors at all the clubs will be bumpin’ with this song for months to come. Welcome back, Whitney… your fans have missed you and we are glad our Queen of the Night is back where she belongs…on the TOP!
