Wrigleys Pulls Chris Brown’s Gum Ad Due To Rihanna Controversy

by on February 10, 2009 | Comments Off

Head honchos at Wrigley’s gum have pulled an ad featuring Chris Brown until he goes through his “due process”.

They’ve said that, following what has happened to Chris in the past few days, his image won’t help them sell gum, so they’re temporarily pulling his ad.

Here’s the ad, in case you were curious:

Wrigley’s bosses issued a statement saying, “We are concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown. We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen. However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved.”

He is set to appear in court on March 5th.
