2010 Grammys full list of winners

posted by roberta — Feb 1st, 2010

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards have kicked off with a performance by Elton John and Lady Gaga and they are both wearing dirt all over their faces. It’s a weirdness competition.

Here are the winners from tonight’s telecast:

Song of the year – Beyonce – “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”
Best country album – Taylor Swift – “Fearless”
Best new artist – Zac Brown Band
Best comedy album – Stephen Colbert – “The Greatest Gift Of All!”
Record of the year – Kings Of Leon – “Use Somebody”
Best rock album – Green Day – “21st Century Breakdown”
Best rap/sung collaboration – Jay-Z, Rihanna & Kanye West – “Run This Town”
Best female vocal performance – Beyonce – “Halo”
Album of the year – Taylor Swift – “Fearless”

I’m bummed because I watched this crap for three-and-a-half hours and they only announced nine winners. I feel jipped.

  14. awful grammys and im a huge fan! too many random speeches and not enough winners listed. the performances were mediocre except for drake and Black eyed peas. black eyed peas should have won best album! not taylor swift. she deserves best country but not the whole thing! black eyed peas were jipped! and LMFAO should have got recognition for pioneering the party rock/dance music! im in miami bitch was a huge party anthem and they were ignored. same with david guetta. boo

  15. WOW…..I'm glad I didn't watch. Sounds like re-runs of the Flintstones would have been more entertaining.

  16. Did you say three hours and only nine awards? I thought it was the Grammy AWARDS. That is bad. I didn't watch much of it last night at all..now I'm glad.

    Comment by Taylor — February 1, 2010 @ 1:54 pm

  17. Yeah…this cannot possibly be a complete list without jazz and blues and folk…what a crap site for info this turned out to be … just like the Grammys themselves

    Comment by dave — February 1, 2010 @ 1:58 pm

  18. I totally agree Taylor is overrated. I have thought so since the beginning. She can't even sing that well live. Can't wait till she is out of the spotlight. Very sick of her.

    Comment by Amy — February 1, 2010 @ 2:31 pm

  19. If, as it has been reported, Susan Boyle's album was the best selling of 2009, why didn't she win something?

    Comment by Guest Tolland — February 3, 2010 @ 2:46 am

  20. By my count there were 109 grammy winners. Why would you claim that your list is a complete list of winners? My guess is that you put down the ones you believed were important, which shows your bias. Why else would you leave out so many, yet claim the list was complete?

    Comment by Eric — February 4, 2010 @ 5:02 pm

  21. I have no bias on who won what, so if you have a link showing all of the 109 winners, then please offer it up for correction. Why would I care one way or another?

    Comment by Roberta — February 4, 2010 @ 7:03 pm

  22. My problem with your header is that it proclaims "2010 Grammys full list of winners", when obviously you had no idea if it was a full list or not. If one were really interested in finding out a full list of winners all you have to do is go to the Grammys website: http://www.grammy.com and click on the "winners" link.

  23. Moving on, that was last week.
