Leif Garrett was busted Monday morning when police noticed his crack twitch. Actually, it was symptoms of drug dependency, according to authorities.

He was approached by officers on a subway platform in Los Angeles due to exhibiting “pronounced symptoms” of drug dependency, such as “shaking and sweating.” Police asked Leif if he had any drugs on his person. At first, he replied that he did not. After being asked again, Leif said that he had heroin in his shoe.

He is due back in court on February 24, 2010.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. You know he was probably tapping some major tail when he was in his prime. Now he’s probably going to be Big Bubba’s girlfriend when he gets sent up for drug possession.
