Dr. Conrad Murray to plead not guilty in Michael Jackson case

posted by roberta — Feb 8th, 2010

According to TMZ, Dr. Conrad Murray is gearing up to plead not guilty when arraigned tomorrow afternoon on charges that he killed Michael Jackson.

Murray is being charged with involuntary manslaughter in Jackson’s June 25th death, after it was said that he administered lethal amounts of Propofol to the singer.

Reportedly, Murray is set to arrive at the courthouse between 1:00 and 2:00 PM PST.

TMZ reports:

Law enforcement sources tell us 20 L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies will be at the courthouse, some of whom will be evident and some who will not. We’re told the Sheriff’s Department has had its security plan in place for a while, in part because of crowd control concerns and partly because of security issues surrounding Dr. Murray.

We’re told there is a concern about Dr. Murray’s safety because of intense feeling on the part of some Michael Jackson fans that Dr. Murray killed the singer.

Murray was most recently spotted at the gravesite of Jackson. Thoughts?

  1. I think at the very least he needs his medical license revoked. Maybe some jail time, but let's be honest, he's not going to be a future harm to society without his ability to practice medicine.

  2. He is guilty in the manslaugher of Michal Jackson, not Joe Shmo, he took away the most entertaining person on the planet..

Thoughts about his grave site visit, well I think he was pondering his future and to apologize to Michael.. think he would, if he has any feeling at all, apologize to him..
