Khloe Kardashian to make sex tape for Lamar Odom
by Jed Eckert on Feb.11, 2010, under articles
I can’t even imagine the reasoning behind Khloe Kardashian’s thought process, when considering making a solo sex tape for her husband, Lamar Odom. Sure, sexytimes on camera made her sister famous, but would it likely have the same effect for her ever failing career?
Also, anyone wanting to do such a thing just does it without publicly saying it. She’s a moron. If you’re into Chewbacca sex, then maybe she’s got what you’re looking for. (continue reading…)
Google deletes music blogs in ‘musicblogocide 2010′
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.11, 2010, under articles
When you’re a music blogger, like myself, you get a ton of record labels sending you promotional mp3s and other samples of music to publish on your site. Unfortunately for some bloggers, who published said music on their Google hosted sites (Blogger, blogspot), when Google received a DMCA notice, they yanked the sites — completely.
Without fair warning, Google laid the hammer down, wiping the content and the sites themselves from existence. This happened to Pop Tarts, Masala, I Rock Cleveland, To Die By Your Side, It’s a Rap and Living Ears. (continue reading…)
Photo: Lady Gaga’s pearl necklace all over her face
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.11, 2010, under articles
Lady Gaga attended the amfAR’s New York City Gala to Kick Off Fall 2010 Fashion Week at Cipriani, wearing a face full of pearls. What the crazyhefferpearlfacednonsense is going on here? It’s certainly not the first time she’s been photographed with her weirdness, but God I love her music.
The only thing I would have to object to, is her wearing basically a sheet in New York recently. What on Earth possesses you to want to look [insert whatever look she was going for] in favor of using common sense and wearing a coat like everyone else?!??

Adam Lambert’s For Your Entertainment goes gold!
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.11, 2010, under articles
Our congratulations go out to Adam Lambert on his debut album, “For Your Entertainment”, for going gold!
FYE has now sold over 500,000 copies, which marks its status as a gold record. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard Top 100 Chart and hasn’t yet fallen below the top fifty since being introduced.
It also appears that there’s been an effect on new American Idol competitors, as well. This was thought to be brought on by Lambert’s willingness to add his own style and flair to a song. Of the Adam Lambert effect, Kara DioGuardi said, “I think that people were interpreting songs from the get-go in audition week. They weren’t just singing them the way they were sung by the people who originally recorded them. They were kind of taking some risks, and I like that. And maybe that is because of Adam.”
Congrats Adam!

Conan O’Brien being tipped to be the next American Idol judge?
by Lydia Harris on Feb.11, 2010, under articles
Now here’s a rumor if I’ve ever heard one. Apparently, someone out there thinks that Conan O’Brien should be Simon Cowell’s replacement on American Idol. That’s rich.
Not that he wouldn’t be a funny replacement on the talent competition, because he would be. That show doesn’t need comic relief, it needs music industry knowledge and honesty. Sure, he would be a great guest judge. It would probably boost ratings, but as far as the long haul, I’m leaning towards no.
What do you think? Would you like to see Conan on Idol? I would love to see him get another late night talk show, and Fox would see a ratings jump if he guest hosted, but I don’t think he’s got what they’re looking for. Not that that’s a bad thing, because I loved Conan. He worked hard for “The Tonight Show” and got rammed in the rear by NBC.
Taylor Swift sucks in ‘Valentine’s Day’
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.11, 2010, under articles
Taylor Swift better stick to music singing getting interrupted on stage, because from what I’ve heard, she really sucks in her new flick, “Valentine’s Day”. And no, I don’t feel bad for saying that. She won a couple of Grammy awards that she didn’t deserve and her acting chops obviously need to be polished. (continue reading…)
Video: Lady Gaga & Cyndi Lauper talk about lipstick & AIDS awareness
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.11, 2010, under articles
Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper appeared on Good Morning America to talk about the Viva MAC lipstick along with AIDS awareness.
Gaga said, “We have a lot in common. Cyndi and I have talked about how, for me growing up, my mother was the one who taught me about makeup, and watching her do her makeup in the morning was a very special moment for us. I’m hoping, and Cyndi’s hoping, that mothers and sisters and best friends buy each other this lipstick and say, ‘This lipstick represents you protecting yourself, having safe sex, and remembering to have loving, monogamous relationships to protect you and those around you.’”
