Ke$ha performed her song, Tik Tok, on last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live and it was truly awful.

About 40 seconds in the video, when she debuts her American flag cape, she gives this nervous look, like, “Crap, no one is clapping!”

Did someone forget to cue the applause track for her shoddy performance? I mean, what does “Did anyone ever stop to think maybe we are the aliens?” even mean? We get it, Kesha, you’re an alien. Ugh.

Cobra Starship singer Gabriel Saporta tweeted his phone number earlier today.

Gabe took to his official Twitter account to say this SIX HOURS AGO:

OMG! i meant to post that as a DM ! OMG! OMG! DELETE ! DELETE!

That was six hours ago, does someone need to direct Gabe to where the delete link is? He seemingly cannot locate it, because the phone number is still up.

Jessica Simpson has embraced her “natural beauty” and has even passed out advice on hair. It must be Ken Paves’ influence!

As if stating the obvious, the singer/actress said that she doesn’t care about what other people think of her anymore.

She said, “I don’t have anything to prove anymore. What other people think of me is not my business.” As far as hair advice goes, she added, “People think updos are so hard, but they’re not. Your hair should look tousled and undone. If I’m in a mood to go out and feel hot and sexy, I want long hair that I can feel on my back. But I also like bed-head.”

Obviously.

Should Jessica be giving out any advice? Just because she has a beauty related television show, does not give her the right to pass out advice at will. What say you?

Nick Jonas has some pretty awesome hopes for his future. The singer says that he wants to be President of the United States, but first, he wants to win a Grammy.

He said that he has always been determined to succeed and has the nickname Mr. Prez. He said, “It was a joke at first. Then, I thought, ‘Man, it actually would be cool to run for president one day.’ I’ve always been quite driven. I take after my father. He’s a driven person. He’s also a leader. He does a great job as a mentor to all of us.”

Right now, however, Nick will settle for winning a Grammy. He added, “I hope my peers in music and my friends are liking my solo album, I hope they can see my growth in music. It’s a dream of mine to win a Grammy one day. I’m not saying I’m Grammy worthy, but it would be a dream come true.”

It was rumored that American Idol head honchos were looking to re-hire former judge Paula Abdul. It was said that since Simon Cowell will be jumping ship to do X Factor, that they would need something — or someone, to rejuvenate the show. And since Paula doesn’t seem to be busy, it would seem likely that they would go after her…since everyone loves her Vicodin parade.

However, American Idol executive producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz denies reports Fox network executives are wooing Abdul back.

Frot-Coutaz tells the New York Daily News, “There’s no truth to that rumor.”

T.I. has just released the highly anticipated title and release date for his upcoming album. The new album’s title is King Uncaged and has been given a release date of Tuesday, August 24th!

Russell Brand says that teen king Justin Bieber should overdose on heroin, so that the world will be saved from his music.

The Vapid reports:

Russell Brand has a prescription for the ailing music industry — heroin. The British comic, fiancé of Katy Perry, tells Rolling Stone: “The top of the hit parade would look very different if teenyboppers were exposed to heroin. It would weed a lot of them out. I don’t think Justin Bieber could handle [Pink Floyd member and heavy user] Syd Barrett’s habit . . . A lot of people in their journey to rehab overdose, and then, perhaps, we would be spared their awful music. It’s Darwinian. It’s the law of natural selection.”

Somehow I doubt #justinbieberonheroin will be a trending topic anytime soon. And who’s Russell to talk anyways? He looks like he should be the poster boy for DARE.
