Jennifer Lopez says she’s not a diva
by Lydia Harris on Apr.12, 2010, under articles

Jennifer Lopez doesn’t want her fans to think that she’s a diva. She says that she’s not the difficult celebrity that she’s made out to be and says that she gets upset by the accusations.
She said, “I never like stories where people say I misbehave or act like a diva, because I don’t. Or that I make terrible demands, because those are always fabricated stories, and always have been. But they’ve become such a strong part of my image that I have no control over it. They’re not true, though, and that’s always bothered me.”
She says that she plans on ignoring the hype, because she knows she is a good person. She said, “You have to keep a sense of humor. There’s something that people want about that diva idea, and I don’t understand it and it bothers me because it’s not the type of person I am, but what can I do? What’s always served me throughout my career is that when people get to know me, or talk to me, and they actually get a chance to see what I’m like, it combats the negative stuff – when they get a chance to see who I am as a person and what I’m about, and that I laugh and giggle and that I’m normal. The truth always comes out at the end of the day.”
So, she basically was a diva about the diva claims?

David Guetta feared working with Madonna
by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.12, 2010, under articles

DJ David Guetta said that he was terrified of working with Madonna, because he’d heard so much about her supposed difficult behavior. She convinced him to work on her upcoming album, after he garnered fame working with Kelly Rowland and Akon.
David said that he was nervous about the pairing, but was stunned by her friendliness.
He said, “Madonna really is the sweetest person. I was totally paranoid before I met her because of all of the stuff that everyone says, but she is really very normal. We spoke about life, love and our children. I was completely seduced.”
I can’t wait for her new album to come out. I hope it’s more like her older stuff, circa 1985.

Lady Gaga is a happy role model
by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.12, 2010, under articles

Lady Gaga says that she is happy to be a role model for her little monsters.
She said, “When you’re in the public eye, you’re a role model whether you want to be or not, and I want to be. I’m not one of those self-obsessed artists who don’t care about their fans. It’s not just about the music. I look out into the O2 and there are 18,000 screaming young people and I have a responsibility to them – and you’re an idiot if you don’t know that.”
She’s also preaching celibacy, saying, “I’m single right now and I’ve chosen to be single because I don’t have the time to get to know anybody. So it’s okay not to have sex, it’s okay to get to know people. I’m celibate. Celibacy’s fine.”

by Lydia Harris on Apr.10, 2010, under articles
Reproduced in full is our communications between Music Industry Piracy Investigations Pty Limited (MIPI), the anti-piracy organization for the Australian music industry and our crack legal adviser (unaccredited) who watches a lot of Judge Judy and should be fired. Regardless of his shoddy credentials, he does a marvelous job of explaining why we’re not quaking in our boots from some hollow legal threat from Australia. Here’s the original post where someone leaked Lady Gaga’s Sydney, Australia itinerary that spawned such insane legal actions. As per our disclosure policy, we are reporting this legal exhange in full for the benefit of our readers. (continue reading…)
Lady Gaga – the new street name for heroin?
by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.08, 2010, under articles

A man in Syracuse, New York, was popped by cops on Tuesday after a tipster ratted him out. He was delivering 400 glassine bags of heroin, in his pants. Each bag was stamped in red ink, “Lady Gaga”.
Altogether, police found 15.6 grams of the stuff, which equates to $6,000.
