In defense of Kristen Stewart’s rape comment, Robert Pattinson talked to Entertainment Weekly to set the record straight.

He said, “None of those associations came out and gave a statement [criticizing Kristen] without being called upon by the media first–who were doing it specifically to get hits on their websites. That whole system of Internet journalists, where no one is called to account, is almost entirely about hate. All these people get away with doing it because they have no responsibility to anyone. All they need is to get a salacious headline and people click on it, because it’s easy. And it’s quite good being part of these ‘Twilight’ films because you have to give so many interviews all the time, you can defend yourself. That’s the only way. All of us stick together, as well. There are so many little nerds behind their computers, on their little blogs.”

So, we’re all nerds with our little blogs? Why didn’t he take that a step further and insinuate that we all still live in our mother’s basements and still ask to borrow her car. Oh, that’s right, because then he’d have to be witty. Scratch that.

Just writing about Kim Kardashian makes me feel like my IQ has dropped, so I’ll keep it brief.

A snitch said, “They met at a restaurant in L.A. a few months ago and exchanged numbers and have been talking ever since. They’ve had a few dates and it’s going really well. They’re taking it slow. She thinks he’s a really good guy. He’s really sweet to her…He thinks Kim is his dream girl.”

Lindsay Lohan’s former assistant, Eleanore, has been offered some big bucks to spill the beans on some details regarding her former employer….but unfortunately for us, she’s not budging one bit.

Lindsay Lohan’s assistant, who quit earlier this month, has been offered a series of huge, five-figure deals to dish on her famous ex-boss. Sources said the weeklies have been offering cash deals worth around $50,000 to the woman, identified only as Eleanore, who reportedly quit because she was “exhausted” and “had enough of Lindsay’s demands.” But one source added: “She has so far refused the offers, saying she doesn’t want to tell on Lindsay as she’s afraid she’ll never work again.”

With the battle of ‘who ended it and why’ going on with The Bachelor star Jake Pavelka and his former fiancee Vienna Girardi, we had to ask…is Jake gay? (Not that there’s anything wrong with that)

Vienna alleges that during their relationship, Jake refused to have sex with her because he “felt premarital sex was a sin”.

Radar Online reports:

“Even though she was in love with him, she knew he didn’t love her, ” a source claims.

Vienna eventually came to the conclusion that the real reason for Jake’s aversion to intimacy with her was not his religious ideals but his lack of interest in women. “He just wasn’t ever physical with her,” the source added. “Vienna told me, ‘I don’t think Jake is into girls.’”

While Mariah Carey was away promoting her role in the movie Precious, her veterinarian was taking care of her dogs. The vet has filed a lawsuit today, claiming that he took care of the dogs day and night and even delivered one of them. He claims the singer ran up a bill for $38,000, but has only paid $8,000 of it.

TMZ reports:

Dr. Cindy Bressler sued Mariah in Manhattan today — and in the suit she says she provided “extraordinary services” for three of Mariah’s Jack Russell terriers … Cha-Cha, Dolomite and JJ. Bressler claims she’s only been paid $8,000 of the 38K bill.

Dr. Bressler’s attorney tells TMZ the vet was in charge of grooming and feeding the doggy divas while Mariah was in L.A. promoting “Precious.” According to the attorney, Bressler also brought tiny Dolomite into this world — delivering the pup last year.

She needs to hire better people already. We already know it’s beneath her to handle the bills.

Because Heidi Montag’s first album worked out so well, she has decided to flop again go back into the studio for strike two!

The former reality star tweeted, “heading into the music studio recording my new single! Steve Morales my music producer moves into my house tomorrow to make my summer album!”

This leads me to believe that absolutely no one has bought the idea of her moving into a house with Jen Bunney for a craptastic new reality show. Please, someone, tell this woman that she can’t sing so 658 more people don’t have to suffer.

He tweeted to Perez Hilton, “Help me film a sex tape with Lady Gaga then I will really be using her properly for press. All i need is 8 minutes or so… I say that because Gaga said she wanted to be a legend. Well Sex tape with me would be a way Gaga could be a legend overnight.”

Umm. In case he’s been living under a rock for the past two years, Lady Gaga is already a legend in the making. Doing anything with Spencer would just bring down her property value.

Courtney Love is still using Kurt’s name for her benefit nuts. Apparently, for her Behind The Music special on VH1, she talked about how strung out Kurt was when addicted to heroin.

She said, “He’d pass out and seek oblivion and I’d have to f***ing slap him and put pins in his balls and put ice cubes everywhere and it started to p**s me off… I started resenting that; I didn’t like being a nursemaid.”

You should feel lucky to be his nursemaid, you crazy heifer. Kurt was an icon and you just leeched off of that. Please stop leeching now, thanks. And I don’t know about you, but I could have gone forever without hearing that little tidbit.

Lindsay Lohan was set up, you guys! Nothing is ever her fault and everyone on the planet is all out to get her.

After showing up eleven hours late to her Markus and Indrani photo shoot for the Bravo show, Double Exposure, Lindsay claims that she was set up. Of course she was.

Unfortunate that I considered jorge on the show a friend to trust…oh- and I’ve never come close to anything other than posing in a photo.. Reportedly, the call time was set for 10 a.m., but Lindsay overslept and showed up late, keeping everyone waiting. I was sure she would blame her dad for this one, too.

Reportedly, Miley Cyrus’ Australian boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, is jealous that crowds of people get to see his girlfriend dance around a stage in next to nothing.

Despite airport affection, Liam Hemsworth is not thrilled with Miley’s displays on stage. “He’s jealous,” a source tells BettyConfidential. “He knows it’s part of her act, but he’s not thrilled that guys in the audience are seeing his girlfriend dressed in lingerie.”
