Miley Cyrus performed her song Party In The USA at the Much Music Video Awards and was wearing a skimpy black bikini top, leather shorts and a bandana.

Much to the delight of those in attendance, the teen queen pranced around the stage, shaking what Disney her parents gave her. I know that she wants to edge closer and closer to adulthood, but it’s only five months away. If this is what we’re seeing now, then what will she do when she’s legal???

We’ve already had an idea of what teen singer Justin Bieber is looking for in a girl, no Uggs and has self confidence, but now he’s giving us a clearer insight into what he’s looking for.

He said, “She needs to have a nice personality, a good sense of humor, nice eyes and a brain. What’s the point of having a nice looking girlfriend if you can’t talk to her? You want to be able to sit down to dinner and be with someone who you can have a proper conversation with.”

He also went on to say that he doesn’t like girls who wear too much makeup. He said, “I don’t like girls who wear lots of makeup and you can’t see their face. Some girls are beautiful but insecure and look much better without the makeup, but decide to put loads on.”

Justin also revealed how he plays it cool when asking a girl out on a date. He added, “It depends on the situation. But at first I won’t let her know – you’ve got to pace yourself. Then, maybe by the end of the conversation, I’d ask her something like, ‘Do you have a phone number that I could reach you at?’ That’s how it usually goes.”

Lady Gaga graces her second cover of Rolling Stone magazine, since June 2009. Her last cover featured her wearing a bubble suit, but this one shows even more.

In the new issue, Gaga said, “When I wake up in the morning, I feel just like any other insecure 24-year-old girl. Then I say, ‘Bitch, you’re Lady Gaga, you get up and and walk the walk today.’”

Johnny Depp is gearing up to launch his own record label and is already seeking out new talent to sign. Before acting, Johnny played with several bands and has recently helped Babybird produce a new record.

According to The Sun, Johnny has already founded Unison Music and hired on some talent scouts to seek out new acts.

A source said, “Johnny has always been passionate about music. He’s taking a really hands-on approach to signing acts. Obviously he can’t get to as many gigs as he would like, but he’s got a good team around him and will personally vet any signings that they make.”

Twenty-four year old actress Amanda Bynes has taken to her official Twitter account to announce her retirement from acting, earlier today. The reason for her retirement at such a young age? She doesn’t love it anymore.

She tweeted, “I’ve never written the movies & tv shows I’ve been apart of I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play. Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it. I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve #retired”

And there you have it! 24 is a bit young, but she’s been acting professionally since she was seven. What’s next for Amanda? School? Singing career? Who knows?

Gary Coleman said that he didn’t want any memorial of his life when he passed away. The late actor was cremated in Sandy, UT on Thursday, but one person absent from the service was his ex-wife, Shannon Price.

Earlier reports claimed Shannon didn’t want to be present to say a final goodbye before he was cremated. She reportedly said that she said her goodbyes at his hospital bed. (Before or after the photo session?)

The body of the 42-year-old star was cremated Thursday afternoon in Sandy, Utah. “She wanted to be there,” says Shielia Erickson, a rep for Coleman’s ex-wife Shannon Price.

Shielia says they found out about the cremation 4 hours after it happened. At the very least, Shielia says they should have been notified of the time, “even if we were saying a prayer at the time…It’s sad she didn’t know.

Something is fishy with this whole situation, in my humble opinion. The day after his death, she was talking about how he bought her a car, etc. She also pulled the plug on him early, despite his healthcare directive asking for about 14 days. Now, she is still vying for control of his estate.

Seems pretty ruthless to me. What do you think?

Jeremy London is the guy who we all felt sorry for, after hearing about his frightening five-hour ordeal in which he was kidnapped, held at gun point, forced to drugs and deliver beer in bad neighborhoods.

Jeremy was said to be changing his tire on June 10th, when he was approached by a couple of guys who offered to help. After helping him out, they took him on a scary ride and forced him to do crack cocaine and amphetamines.

The suspect, Brandon Adams, was subsequently arrested and charged with numerous crimes. Now, it’s coming to light that his neighbors have said that he’s not the type of guy who would force anyone to do drugs, but he’d probably do drugs with Jeremy. Even worse, Radar Online reports that the would-be kidnappers even gave Jeremy’s wife a ride home. Say what?!??

Several sources confirmed that Melissa was in the car and became scared and asked to be driven home – and the accused kidnapper complied!

I’ve never heard of a hostile situation such as this, where a kidnapper says, “Okay, we’ll let the wife go, but we’re keeping you so you can do drugs with us or die!” Seriously, have you? It just raises a lot of questions. One being, why didn’t she alert the authorities before he made his escape? Is there a 911 call on file somewhere? It just doesn’t add up to me.

Teen singer Justin Bieber, Cameron Diaz and Pete Wentz are just a few names of the celebrities who have signed up to participate in a telethon on Monday to benefit the victims of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Other stars who will appear on the special two-hour edition of Larry King Live: Ted Danson, Lenny Kravitz, Randy Jackson, Jenny McCarthy, Tim McGraw, Alyssa Milano, Robert Redford, Ian Somerhalder, Melania and Ivanka Trump, Victoria Principal, Edward James Olmos, Pete Wentz, as well as a performance by Sting.

Also supporting the cause is Ryan Seacrest who is set to host a “Social Suite” for the viewers participating using Facebook and Twitter. The telethon is set to benefit the United Way, the National Wildlife Federation and the Nature Conservancy.

Celebs doing good, I love it! I hope they can raise enough money to really make a difference out of this catastrophe. It looks like BP is not really making any headway in the worst disaster of our time.

Mariah Carey is paying tribute to her marriage to Nick Cannon by introducing a new line of fragrances called Lollipop Bling.

People magazine reports:

Mariah’s sugary trio of Elizabeth Arden fragrances, which are being produced in partnership with Topps Candy Company, will launch next month in bright butterfly-topped bottles. Mine Again will include notes of chocolate and raspberry. Ribbon will feature blue raspberry. Honey will be a tropical pineapple infusion. And they’ll have a sweet price to match their inspiration, selling at $35 for each 1-oz. bottle.

Of the fragrances, she said, “The inspiration for Lollipop Bling was Nick’s marriage proposal to me. He first surprised me with a ring-pop — romantic, fun and young-at-heart — like me!”

In a new interview with MTV, teen queen Miley Cyrus said that she really isn’t exposed to any of the bad press that gets circulated about her. She also says that she has a team of people that prevent the bad stuff from slipping through.

She said, “I try to think of really just the positive things. My family, we’re only allowed to have ten channels basically at our house, because we don’t want to see any of that stuff. So the people that are around me, they bring me the good things, and I never see anything or read anything that’s bad because it’s never emailed to me by my manager or publicist or whoever.”

I’m sure she heard about the Perez scandal. I was just hoping and praying that she would actually have done something about that heinous, vile bully.
