On November 25th, Jake Gyllenhaal and girlfriend Taylor Swift spent some time at a coffee shop in Brooklyn, New York, grabbing lattes. We’ve got some new details on their sweet date!

A spy at the coffee shop said, “He kind of reminded me of how a guy acts when he is nervous on a first date. Jake was close to her and had his hand on her lower back when they talked at the counter. He was very gentle toward her and was being super polite. Honestly, I didn’t know they were dating or anything like that, but seeing how they acted while they were here, makes me think they really like each other. He definitely showed a certain ‘this is my girl’ kind of vibe.”

Taylor was happy during the date, as well. The snitch added, “She was very talkative, very polite and ended her sentences with ‘please’ and ‘thank you’. They were very nice to people who approached them. There were a few times people mentioned that they loved them. They smiled and thanked everyone. They were quick to say ‘Happy Thanksgiving’ a handful of times to fans and the employees.”

How cute!

Recently, Kim Kardashian and her sisters were trying to stick their noses in the financial affairs of the public, with their prepaid Mastercard. Since good folks have complained, the Attorney General launched an investigation.

The card had some pretty nasty fees associated with it, and consumers were left holding the bag, paying outrageous dollar amounts, just for the privilege of owning this piece of plastic.

Now that it’s gotten enough negative press, the Kardashians have decided to cancel it. The girls have sent a notice of termination to the company behind the card, ending their endorsement deal.

According to the notice, the Kardashians “have worked extremely long and hard to create a positive public persona” and are recognized as “honest, ethical, and fun-loving individuals who are kind and caring to others.”

Now if they can only terminate all of their other endorsement deals, then things would be right in the world.

Rihanna is tired of people asking her questions about her 2009 assault by Chris Brown. So much, that when a fan tweeted her, asking why she keeps talking about it, she just basically said that she wished interviewers would stop bringing it up!

She tweeted, “People won’t stop askin about it! It’s f**kin annoying! Nobody wants to relive that, but some ppl can’t respect that! I get it, they wanna raise awareness to young girls! But it just ends up makin me look bitter, pitiful, spiteful and angry!”

I can’t say that I blame her. This happened a long time ago and I’m sure she wants to leave the past in the past!

Robert Pattinson and girlfriend Kristen Stewart have been keeping busy filming scenes for their honeymoon in upcoming movie, Breaking Dawn. According to reports, Rob has found their first lovemaking scene in the movie disturbing.

Apparently, Rob didn’t realize how violent the scene was going to be. In the book, Bella is left beaten and bruised due to Edward’s strength. Rob was said to have asked, “Can’t we use body doubles? Kristen is so slight, I can’t stand the thought of hurting her.”

Despite being worried, Kristen convinced him to continue with the scene and he remained professional about it.

Sounds like a true gentleman!

Earlier we told you that Kim Kardashian is one of the many stars going silent for World AIDS Day on Tuesday to raise money for Alicia Keys’ charity, Keep A Child Alive. The celebrities involved plan to stay off of Facebook and Twitter until they raise one million dollars.

Seen above, Kim is dead to her digital life, in a casket and possibly Photoshopped beyond all recognition. I guess that would shut her up, wouldn’t it?

Back on July 16, 2009, it was reported that the previous Wednesday, Mischa Barton was placed on an involuntary 5150 hold. The LAPD enforced the psychiatric hold on the actress, who was then transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

At the time, the only thing we knew about the incident was that it had something to do with her recent (at the time) dental surgery.

In the new issue of Tatler, Mischa opened up about the involuntary hold and what went down to cause it. She says that she was placed under the hold after she lashed out at nursing staff who were trying to inject her with painkillers to treat an infection caused by the removal of her wisdom teeth.

She said, “I had this terrible surgery to remove my wisdom teeth and it drove me mad. I had infections and I couldn’t eat anything except Slush Puppies for three months and I can’t tell you how awful it was… Anyway, I’d had enough and I went to the hospital. I was in a lot of pain and if they feel you are depressed or a danger to yourself they can hold you on a 5150.”

She went on, “I am terrified of needles and they wanted to pump me full of drugs and I said, ‘No, absolutely not. I don’t want to be here’, and got into a fight with the nurses, and that led to my 5150.”

She added, “Part of me wishes those things had never happened in the public eye. I wish I could have been perfect. For ages after that 5150, I’d walk down the street and people would give me the crazy eye: ‘There’s Mischa Barton, she’s insane, isn’t she?’”

Craziness! (No pun intended.)

Famous funnyman Leslie Nielsen has passed away. He was 84-years-old.

So far there aren’t any details surrounding his death, as this story is still developing.

Update: TMZ reports that Leslie passed away earlier today, surrounded by friends and family:

Legendary funny man Leslie Nielsen died today of complications of pneumonia in a hospital near his home in Fort Lauderdale, this according to his agent. He was 84.

His agent tells TMZ Nielsen passed surrounded by his wife and friends at about 5:34 PM ET.

Our condolences go out to his family and friends.
