Teen Mom Amber Portwood is afraid of jail
by Lydia Harris on Nov.19, 2010, under articles

Yesterday, Indiana authorities charged Teen Mom star Amber Portwood with two felony counts with regard to her attack on fiancee Gary Shirley. Since, she spoke out, saying that there are no felony charges because she didn’t hit Gary in front of their daughter Leah.
Amber’s cousin Krystal says that the tables were turned before Amber and Gary became reality television stars. She went on to reveal that Amber is worried about what’s going to happen next.
She said, “She’s definitely afraid of going to jail. Who wouldn’t be afraid? She’s afraid of the possibility of Leah being taken away and the whole CPS ordeal. She’s not taking it well. She’s not flipping out, but she’s worried about what’s going to happen. But she’s hoping for the best outcome and with everything she’s doing now to better herself she feels she’s going to get the best outcome. She’s trying to get her life on track for Leah and herself. She’s trying to better herself and she’s doing well at it. Amber is portrayed as this villain who hits people, but that’s not who Amber is. Everyone has episodes and gets pissed off. Amber does regret it. But she’s fun loving and has a great personality.”
I don’t know about you, but I don’t have episodes where I haul off and beat the crap out of someone because I’m angry. Just sayin’.

Ha! He just got real!!! I love it.
Heidi Montag blasts Dr. Frank Ryan
by Jessica LeFevre on Nov.18, 2010, under articles

Heidi Montag seemed to enjoy her ten plastic surgeries in one day, but now she’s blasting the man who made it possible, Dr. Frank Ryan. Even though he passed away in a freak car accident this August, she pulls no stops in calling him out for saying her surgeries weren’t excessive.
Heidi says that she has regrets over the surgical procedures, and wouldn’t have gone through with it if Dr. Ryan hadn’t convinced her it wasn’t excessive.
She said, “It’s not who I am. It’s something I did. It was a choice that I made, and I wanted other women and people to know, ‘Yeah, I have insecurities and so does everyone, and this is what I did, and I don’t want to lie about it, and I don’t want to cover it up. I don’t like lying. It’s just not who I am. In retrospect, I do wish I never would have said anything.”
Despite making money off of her surgeries, Heidi went on to reveal that hindsight is always 20/20 and wouldn’t go through with it again if she had it all to do over. She said, “I wouldn’t do it again…If I could go back, I wouldn’t have had them. It was a lot harder, then I was led on by my doctor. I didn’t know how excessive it really was.”
Still, she’s happy to report that the surgery didn’t go wrong or leave her with any scarring. She added, “It was a lot and I’m very thankful for how it turned out. It could have been disastrous.”
Attention hog. Attacking a man who is not here to defend himself…now that’s just wrong!
Amber Portwood faces felony charges over Gary Shirley attack
by Jed Eckert on Nov.18, 2010, under articles

Amber Portwood, star of MTV’s show Teen Mom, is facing some serious charges today, after Indiana officials have decided to charge her with two felonies and one misdemeanor.
It all stems from Amber’s attacks on her fiancee, Gary Shirley. The attacks happened on three separate occasions and show Amber really beating the crap out of him. She punched him, hit him in the face and kicked him. Because officials believe that the attacks were done in front of their daughter, they have charged her with felony domestic violence and battery.
Officials have acknowledged that the criminal investigation was launched after the MTV show aired — which included footage of Amber smacking Shirley several times.
Cops say Amber not only slapped Shirley in front of the kid — but she also punched him several times in the face and upper-body.
If convicted on all counts, Portwood faces three years behind bars and fines up to $10,000.
In a new interview, Amber is denying the accusations. She said, “I didn’t hit Gary in front of Leah so there are no felony charges. None of this is true, there’s nothing against me. They can’t charge me if they don’t have proof.”
What do you think? Should she go to jail?

Security stepped up around Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart
by Jed Eckert on Nov.18, 2010, under articles

Security has been stepped up around Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as they film scenes for their upcoming movie, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.
Movie bosses are vamping up their security measures to ensure that no overzealous fans get anywhere near the set. The filming has moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana this week and producers have asked for the increased security to make sure the actors are kept safe.
The head of the facility’s security, Winston Achee, said, “We have increased our number of full-time security personnel from six to twenty-four in the last week. That’s just the beginning of the ramp-up. We’ll be adding two to four more every week. So, we’ll have on property at all times a forty-eight man force. We are not taking security on this property lightly. The security that the production has brought doubles our own force.”
He also warns any fans who think that they can get through. He added, “We have a law on the books, State criminal statute 1462.4. If you get charged with that offense, it’s a felony. This ain’t no misdemeanor. We will absolutely prosecute every person who trespasses. There have been six who trespassed before and they have all been caught. The property is covered with high definition security cameras…I used to run security for Elvis. I’m confident.”

Bristol Palin thanks her haters
by Lydia Harris on Nov.18, 2010, under articles

Well, I, for one, am a Bristol Palin hater. I can’t fathom the thought that she got through to the finals on Dancing With The Stars. It truly doesn’t feel as if it were based on talent or skill, so it has to be another factor…. Her mother, perhaps? The Tea Party set their sights on getting her through to the finals and she did.
Now, Bristol is thanking her haters. Even the guy that shot his television set over this crap?!??
In a new interview with Access Hollywood, Laura Saltman asked Bristol about her haters and what she would like to say to all of us. She said, “Well, thanks for hating on me because that’s just going to give me more motivation. I’m blessed to still be around and I’m thankful for our fans that keep voting us through.”
They’re not fans, they’re the people who have rigged the system so that your wooden self could get through to the end. Seriously, Derek Hough’s reaction said it all!

Tiger Woods blames golf for affairs
by Jessica LeFevre on Nov.18, 2010, under articles

In a new article in Newsweek, golfing legend Tiger Woods blames golf for the affairs that led to his divorce from Elin Nordegren.
He said, “That self-reliance made me think I could tackle the world by myself. The physical pain from that car accident has long healed. But the pain in my soul is more complex and unsettling.”
When speaking about his mistresses, he said, “Opportunists are trying still to cash in on my troubles, no matter how irresponsible or ridiculous their claims may be.”
For his closing note, he said, “Thanks for all the love.”
What do you think? Is he taking responsibility?
