Avril Lavigne says album delay not due to tensions with Deryck Whibley

Despite the rumors that there is tension between Avril Lavigne and soon-to-be ex-husband Deryck Whibley, causing a delay in her album’s release, she says it’s quite the opposite.

Her new album, “Pink Crust” was already pushed back once and is likely to be released in the summer. It was rumored that because Whibley was producing the album, he was causing some tension with its release.

She said, “We still work together all the time. He’s one of my best friends. We’ve been friends for a really long time, and we always will be. We’re family and we have a connection. We work really well together.”

Then why the delays?

    I am looking forward to this album, and I know that the album is not title pink crust, that was a made up name from a fan on a website dedicated to Avril. People who have heard this new album are claiming that this is her best album ever. I am truly looking forward to this album.
