Chad Kroger vs. the Facebook pickle

Remember when we introduced you to this illustrious and yummy looking pickle? The pickle gained such popularity when fans pit it against Nickelback, in their Facebook fan page. Now Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger wants to shut it down. No fair.

The pickle received more friends than the rock group and reportedly, the page starter received a note from Kroeger himself, stating that the page is getting shut down.

Real or fake? Oh yes, and salute the pickle.

    put on a great show, are really open to their fans, give to charity and just make people happy. I don't understand you people. Why do you HATE SO MUCH? Are you that unhappy with your life that you have to down people. I mean really. Were you a bully in highschool. Did you hate everyone that had more than you, more popular, prettier, or do you just hate??

      we just hate. no j/k it's real simple, the music lacks passion and talent, it's kinda of like reality shows, the more you dumb it down for people the more popular bands and entertainment like this get. Truth is that there are MANY better bands out there that will never be found with more writing, singing and playing talent. But the easiest thing to do is turn on the radio and listen to what they cram down your ear 50 times a day. Find better music, there is nothing special about Nickelback and chances are you will grab on the next best thing in a year or two as well. Our hatred stems from people just running with the herd instead of taking the time to find original sounding music and just take what the radio hands to them as the best out there. Be someone different…not just another Nickelback fan.

    Also suggesting us fans will move onto something else in a year or two is stupid, because Nickelback has been popular for the last 10 years. They aint going anywhere.

    Nickelback aint trying to be something vastly different and new. They’re good at the type of music they make.

    Totally fake. Kroeger and the band have worked very hard to get where they are. Extremely talented in every way. He writes with everyone and is the nicest person you can meet. He has better things to do than hang out on facebook worried about a stupid pickle.
