Eminem defends Taylor Swift over Kanye West stage hijacking

Taylor Swift obviously has a friend in rapper Eminem. After Kanye West stage-jacked her at the 2009 MTV VMAs, Eminem said that he should’ve shown more class.

If you’ll recall, Taylor took the mic to give a proper acceptance speech for her award for Best Female Video and said that Beyonce had the best video of all time. He was obviously drunk and acting like a complete fool. Taylor was left on stage with the mic and did not get to say her thanks. Later on in the awards show, Beyonce took the stage to accept an award and called Taylor out to the stage. Beyonce showed class, where Kanye had none.

Now, Eminem has taken a beef with Kanye, saying, “He shouldn’t have done that, man. I mean, she’s (Swift) a little girl.”

We agree. I’m just wondering what took him so long to come to her defense. It’s been months since that happened.

    Make that 10 months as of now; September 13 will be exactly one year since the incident took place. I don't think anyone has debated what Kanye was wrong, so what's the point of bringing that up again?

    This may just be the first time Em stated something on record and not that he's radomly brought it up. Another thing to look at is guessing by the way the statement is made, this could have been said during the couse of an interview and therefore he wouldn't have brought it up, but the interviewer.

    wow eminem who makes songs about sleeping with peoples wives talking about raping and killing woman and dissing about dead celebrities and make songs things about that never took place and thinks committing suicide or child rape is source of entertainment and puts it on CD eminem is has no class

    it was the interviewer who asked him, so he's not the one randomly bringing up old events.
    it seems all these news sites are trying to instigate a feud between him and kanye over a few words that anyone else would, and probably have, said.
    Eminem has grown up..sure he dissed all those celebrities in the past but he's obviously matured now…also even though he has dissed a buncha celebrities, he's never gone on stage and interrupted one of their acceptence speeches by saying they didnt deserve to win.
