Kelis ordered to pay $5,000 for weave

Rapper Kelis has been ordered by a court to pay the $5,000 for a weave that she got in 2009.
She was said to have received the expensive weave in Santa Monica, California in May 2009, but has since refused to pay the bill. The salon ended up taking her to court for the overdue bill, which she has just been ordered to pay.
Kelis failed to attend the hearing on Monday, which left the court no choice but to rule for the salon.
