On Friday, Lady Gaga surpassed Britney Spears as the celebrity with the most Twitter followers. Today, Lady Gaga has 5,748,152, while Britney is in a close second place with 5,706,123 followers.

How cute! I’m happy for her. But I think this reeks of Perez Hilton’s douchebaggery. What do you think?
