Maksim Chmerkovskiy responds to Bristol Palin comments

In an effort to possibly gain more votes on Dancing With The Stars for the sympathy factor, Bristol Palin released a quote recently stating that Maksim Chmerkovskiy said that he doesn’t like her.

This had me wondering how long it was going to be before Maks released a statement about Bristol and her comments. Earlier on Wednesday, the professional dancer said that he was disappointed.

He said, “I felt really disappointed with Bristol. On Monday night, I found out that she went on record saying that I said something about her along the lines of, ‘I don’t like her because she’s still here and she’s not a good enough dancer.’ Every time I’ve opened my mouth about Bristol, I’ve been nothing but supportive…”

He went on to say, “For her to come out on Monday night and totally smear my name the way she did, that’s just completely uncalled for. I have no idea where she got it from, but wherever she got it from, shame on her and shame on whoever told her that.”

He went on to reveal that the voting system is jacked up. He said, “I definitely think that the system is flawed. I think there are a lot of problems with it. I have a lot of friends in the Philadelphia area who couldn’t call at all. People here, in front of me, picked up the phone, dialed one time and it said, ‘Thank you for voting. You are over your limit….’ I think it’s just a flawed system.”

There’s one person he’s not rooting for to win the mirrorball trophy! At this point, he could care less. He said, “I really don’t care.”

Having said that, out of the three remaining contestants, he does think Kyle Massey would be a good winner.

    Maks is the biggest poor sport this show has ever seen. I hope he is not allowed to come back next year as a pro, he is not professional at all. Maybe if he had a better attitude, he’d get more votes.

    Bristol Palin is young and delusional that’s why she thinks people are voting for her (same reason she got knocked up). They are voting for her mom! Bristol is being used and she will realize it later on in life like a bad dream.

    While it’s true she is likeable, she is not the only likeable person in the contest. She is actually dopey. She has improved a lot since day 1 and so has everyone else.

    She is a better dancer and sport than Kate Goslin, I’ll give her that. Kate Goslin is more real though, in a drama queen type way. Bristol is not real, she hides her feelings, that’s why you don’t feel anything from her performances. Get real!!!

    She can defend herself all she wants, intelligent people know better who’s fake and who’s real. She’s a real fake winner in this contest, even for 3rd place.

    If you are real, can you handle that real fact? Show us how you really feel, and in the performances, and we’ll see how real you can get…

    The whole Dancing with the Stars voting system is flawed. They should keep the voting to just the judges since they are the professionals. Once you let the people in on the voting it becomes more of a popularity show.
    As for this past week (11/16) the wrong person was definitely voted off. Was a definite show of someone(Brandy) knowing what they are doing being voted off…where someone (Palin) who really should have been voted off weeks ago allowed to stay because of who her mother is.
    It’s really sad that the producers/directors of this show allow this to continue year-after-year.
    Every year it is costing you viewers that are totally disappointed and eventually it’s going to cost you the show unless the voting portion changes.

    Afterall, it’s a “DANCING” show NOT a “POPULARITY” show!!

    Palin is not a star and should not have been on this show. It has turned political with her mother running her mouth and getting tv time. There are thousands of young single mothers in this country. Why wasnt one of them chosen???? This is very disgusting as many dancers who are much better were sent home. Not fair!!!!!!!!!!!

    I agree the voting system is flawed. They should keep the voting to the judges, afterall, they are the professionals. Palin looks like a robot just going through the moves, she has no emotion. Sure she has improved but so has everyone else and even more than she has. Brandy was amazing and should never have been voted off. As for Palin, she should have been long gone. I feel sorry for Maks too, he just says it like it is and gets crap for it. YES he is professional and he is real!! The producers need to do something about the voting system or they will continue to lose viewers as people who should NOT be voted off are being voted off!

    It’s a shame that the Republican Political Machine is prepared to deliberately skew the votes in Bristol’s favor… which proves again that votes can be rigged and that Sarah Palin and the Republican Party will do anything to WIN…..AT ANY COST

    Such behavior… while likely merely instigated as a result of an over zealous Marternal Instinct… is still distastefully reprehensible.

    The negative results, where beginner dancers can amazingly outperform seasoned professionals?… suggest that the show’s producers need to overhaul the voting system or at least minimize the impact of BLOCK VOTING by better control or minimizing the impact of the uncontrolled popular vote. The can be fixed with a heavier weighted reliance on the voting of the show’s judges

    And Sarah, Please Go ahead and have your fun on your reality show..and in your own space but “for heaven’s sake” keep your Politics off the dance floor.

    The Voting is flawed. I called to vote about 15 times
    never got thru. My neighbor called but only got thru once and was told that she had already reached her voting limit.
    Some very strange things happened during the last
    vote.
    Bristol is only on Dancing With the Stars because the media is trying to push the Palins down our throats.

    What a shame!!
