Paris Hilton not likely to secure a plea deal in drug bust

Paris Hilton was arrested on Friday night after cops found a “small bindle” of cocaine in her purse. At the time, she claimed that the purse was borrowed and has vehemently denied owning the cocaine in question.

Since, Paris has been charged with felony possession and she’s likely to be facing one to four years in prison over the arrest. In addition to that, the heiress could have to pay a fine of $5,000, which she probably considers to be an hour’s worth of spending cash on a shopping spree.

Now, it’s been said that Paris is not likely to secure a plea deal in the case. Radar Online reports:

District Attorney David Roger is highly unlikely to offer Paris a plea bargain deal on her cocaine possession charge, a source close to the case told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

Roger is running for reelection and has a record of high-profile victories in the legal arena.

“This is a high profile case, right before a very important election, and it’s very likely that there will be no plea bargaining down of these charges,” said the source.

You do the crime, you do the time. I guess that’s the message here. Do you feel sorry for her?

    This certainly may unfold to be an interesting trial. I hope Mz P is working on her shocked, tearful pose. She’ll have to really do that well to improve on Lohan’s! I sort of expected her (LL) to be mentioned on the Emmy awards show.

    The coverage I read about this bust said that one of the policemen was walking and nose-touching with her BF while the other was standing beside the car they were in. Paris decided she couldn’t live another second with out some lip balm. When she pulled it out of her purse a little bag of Mr. Whitey fell out. I’d be ashamed to tell that!! “Guess what?
