Pete Doherty feels Libertines reunion could be a disaster

Rocker Pete Doherty said that he is worried about the upcoming Libertines reunion dates in the U.K., saying that it could be “potentially a disaster.”

On Monday, March 29th, it was announced that they are set to play the Leads & Reading Festival. This will be the first time that the band has played together since 2004, but Pete says that it could end badly.

He said, “I was like, ‘Let’s get on with it.’ Potentially it’s a fucking disaster – it’s a tinder box waiting to go up. I think we need to be honest with each other and speak up if something is happening that no one else agrees with and, rather than just wander off in silence and let everything get messy, just be honest.”

    I think its the best festival news ever, am over the moon such a quality band are reforming, and peter is just being cautious after what went so horribly wrong last time. Hopefully they have all put it in the past, and there is a lot of love still there for them to forgive and forget. I can't wait, roll on Reading!!
