Review: Lady Gaga & Semi Precious Weapons on the Monster Ball Tour in Cleveland, Ohio

by on July 15, 2010 | 5 Comments

Last night in Cleveland, Ohio, opening band Semi Precious Weapons riled up the crowd by putting on a “filthy glamour” show for all of us. Justin Tranter proved how crazy the show was by changing clothes on the stage in front of everyone.

Upon arriving at the Q Arena, we noticed that there were a ton of Little Monsters wearing their best Lady Gaga gear and police caution tape. The show was loud and lots of fun.

When Gaga appeared on the stage, the crowd, including us, all went nuts! She sang all of her hits, including Pokerface, Speechless, Teeth, Bad Romance, You And I and even one I hadn’t heard before, Vanity.

After the jump, Gaga performing Bad Romance for all of us rowdy Clevelanders!

A good time was had by all. We loved the show in every part. A big shout out to Semi Precious Weapons, Lady Gaga and all of the Little Monsters who were dressed up. It was a blast. Cleveland loves you!!

Show us your TEETH!

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! As a huge Gaga fan family, I spent over $300 to take two of my adult daughters to this concert in the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The sound was so bad we couldn't even recognize most of the songs the Lady sang. We certainly couldn't understand her banter. The bass overpowered the entire performance and the acoustics didn't help. The feedback and reverberation filled the fieldhouse. We (along with many, many others) left early. The opening act should be banned from ever performing again and renamed 'Totally Talentless Weapons'. Shocking hard rock is one thing but insulting and tone deaf is another… What happened to Jason Derulo? We give this concert three thumbs down.

wow me and my daughter were there and we LOVED it! I was actually bragging to her that the sound system was MUCH better than most concerts ive been too! She played quite a while … and DEFINITLY gave you something new after EVERY song ! … New backgrounds frequently… new outit after each song! She was great! I was impressed … the opening act was a TOTAL thumbs down! HORRIBLE!
