Roman Polanski gets off

These headlines just write themselves, don’t they?
Apparently, the Swiss government has denied a request by our government to have child molester and movie maker Roman Polanski extradited to the States.
The Justice Ministry said Monday in a statement that national interests were taken into consideration in the decision, and that Polanski was now a free man.
Roman pled guilty in 1978 to one count of unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl, but fled to France before he could be sentenced.
So, if you’re a celebrity, then it’s okay for you to commit these vile offenses? Lindsay Lohan will find some way to use that to her advantage, I’m sure. Wait for her next tweet.
