Teena Marie has passed away

R&B singer Teena Marie has passed away, we are sad to report.

She was reported to have died in her sleep last night after her daughter’s birthday. Her manager has confirmed the news, but no other information has been released.

She was found by her daughter. So sad. We send out our most heartfelt condolences to Teena’s family in their time of suffering.

RIP Teena Marie (March 5, 1956 – December 26, 2010).

    Iam so sorry to hear that Teena Marie has passed away. Rest in peace soulful Teena Marie. My prayer goes out to the entire family, love ones and friends. Teena does not have to cry no more. God has wiped all of her tears away. She is now with sweet Jesus singing with the angels, dancing, shouting and praising the Lord all the day long with all others who has gone to be with the Lord. Teena is walking the streets of gold, The sun will never go down. Thank God Almighty Teena Marie is free at last.

    my prayers are with you, I knew Tina in Saint Marks catholic school I believe we were in the 4th grade. I still remember her well,she starred in the play the sound of music as the dad, her long wavey hair and her big round eyes, always singing the loudest, but sounded the best. God Bless
