Video: Youtube singers cover ‘We Are The World’

Forty-nine Youtube singers and music editors came together for this new recording of the classic Lionel Richie/Michael Jackson song, “We Are The World”.

This version of the song sounds amazing, and even much better than the official remake. Kudos to Lisa Lavie for pulling all of this together.

The song made its debut on February 20th and has already received over 101,000 views. They’ve also stressed not to forget purchasing the remake, as it aids in the recovery of Haitian earthquake victims.

    Sounds better as a populist song, but I have to admit the music is better in the official version. I think it's weird and funny how over-the-top most people become when in front of a camera. I guess it just means people understand the "entertainment" importance of the historical record.
