If you’ll recall, Kim Kardashian first came on the scene, riding Paris Hilton’s coattails to fame. Afterward, she “accidentally” leaked a sex tape of herself featuring Brandy’s brother Ray J. Now, this reality twit wants us to believe that she’s famous for something?!??

Kim insists that doing her reality show is a full-time job. In a recent interview, she said, “People say I do nothing but I laugh at that because my job is the reality show, the fashion lines, the books — I never stop. It’s a full-time job. it’s not nice to be criticized but it really doesn’t bother me because I know everyone has their own opinion.

She thinks that filming a television show based on her life, antics and drama is considered real work??? I’m not buying it one bit. She is famous for having a sex tape and anything else she tries to get you to believe is just fluff.

Ricky Gervais went crazy with his Golden Globes monologue, verbally attacking every celebrity in the room. As far as Scientologists go, he really laid it on thick. When speaking about films that didn’t make the cut, he talked about I Love You, Phillip Morris, which he referred to as “two heterosexual actors pretending to be gay.”

Then, he added, “Sort of the complete opposite of some famous Scientologists then.” After a pause and the reaction from the audience, he added, “My lawyers helped me with the wording of that joke.”

TMZ reports that John Travolta didn’t take too kindly to Ricky or his jokes:

John Travolta — who was the implied butt of a controversial joke from Ricky Gervais during the Golden Globes — seemed to acknowledge the situation last night when he told our photog the event was “more like a roast” than an awards show.

John was all smiles leaving an event at the Hollywood Palladium last night as dozens of fans asked for autographs and congratulated him on his new baby. But he was stone cold silent when we asked him if he had any words for Gervais.

Sometimes saying nothing truly says it all.

Dana Milbank over at the Washington Post, is calling for a worldwide moratorium on Sarah Palin related news for next month. He reports:

I hereby pledge that, beginning on Feb 1, 2011, I will not mention Sarah Palin – in print, online or on television – for one month. Furthermore, I call on others in the news media to join me in this pledge of a Palin-free February. With enough support, I believe we may even be able to extend the moratorium beyond one month, but we are up against a powerful compulsion, and we must take this struggle day by day.

Will you go along with a ban on news related to Sarah and her ilk? Except, I mean, if she murders kittens, then we’re definitely reporting on that.

Ban Sarah 2011! You can do it.

Keith Olbermann was canned from MSNBC after Comcast bought them out, primarily because he’s a loose cannon. What you may not have known, was that there was an exit deal in the works.

TMZ reports:

Here’s how it went down. Sources familiar with the situation tell us that Olbermann’s agent recently went to NBC complaining that Keith — who has the most popular show on MSNBC — was underpaid at $7 million per year. NBC execs told Olbermann’s agent they would not cough up anymore money.

Network execs were well aware that Comcast wanted Keith gone because he was “a loose cannon that could not be controlled.” It became clear to both sides that Olbermann’s days were numbered and they began negotiating an exit.

We’re told the exit deal wasn’t completed until just before airtime Friday night.

Just like Conan O’Brien before him, he’ll have to wait a certain time period before appearing on national television again. However, in the same vein, he will be coming to the internet very soon.

Reportedly, Summit Entertainment leaked this first photo of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s daughter Renesmee, from Breaking Dawn. However, according to sources, the photo is not from the movie AT ALL.

The photo is actually a photos shoot that MacKenzie Foy who plays Renesmee did prior to pre-Breaking Dawn. The photoshoot was for for Garnet Hill Clothing. Summit never released the picture.

So there you have it! Now stop jumping all over stuff that’s been released for ages now. The movie will be out soon enough and you’ll get to see all of that for yourself!

Regis Philbin shocked everyone with the announcement that he’s leaving Live With Regis & Kelly on January 18, 2011.

Reportedly, the shock announcement came because of a pay cut that ABC was trying to put on Regis — and he wasn’t having any part of that. The executives at ABC talked about a new contract for Regis, but explained that he would have to take a pay cut because the show wasn’t performing as well as in the past — and also because he takes time off.

TMZ reports:

Sources say Reeg is currently pulling in between $18 and $20 million a year.

Regis, we’re told, was angry at the offer and that was the trigger for his announcement this week that he’s leaving the show.

TMZ first reported … Regis told Kelly Ripa about his decision 15 minutes before they went on the air. Initially we were told she was stunned but not angry. Now we’ve learned she was furious — partly because, as one source says, “She felt it showed a total lack of respect for her.”

We’re told the entire production team is angry at Regis because they feel he hurt the show by blindsiding everyone.

As for Regis’ agent, Jim Griffin, Reeg fired him. We’re told Regis feels Griffin did not negotiate the upcoming deal effectively.

Recently, Kelly Osbourne defended Miley Cyrus against the haters and now another of her co-stars is coming out swingin’ — with nothing but good things to say about Miley!

Her LOL co-star Thomas Jane said, “Don’t believe any of that bulls**t! She’s a real classy lady. And that will be proven over the years. She’s a wonderful girl.”

He went on to reveal that Miley became good friends with his daughter Harlow Olivia when she came to visit the set of the movie. He added, “Miley was so sweet and nice with her. She’s just really made me a big fan. She treated her like a real friend and my daughter was super impressed.”

Accorrding to reports, there is a little more to the JWoww nude photo scandal story that we know about.

Her ex-boyfriend, Tom Lippolis went to court to try to release the photos, but has since been blocked. Now, her lawyer, Rudy Fusco said, “Jenni is obviously very happy that the judge saw it her way. Tom is out there right now, doing a lot of press, radio shows and the Twitter, the Facebook – all that fun stuff. I saw a post of his describing the pictures, and that’s not the whole story — trust me. The pictures are a lot more graphic than that. They’re not what he’s making them out to be.”

Reportedly, the photos were taken when Jenni was under anesthesia, but Tom says otherwise. Her lawyer went on to say, “He’s also trying to say that Jenni is just throwing this in there as a way to deflect attention from the contractual argument that they’re having — and that’s not true at all, either. If he remembers, we sent him a letter back in September requesting these photos and avoiding any legal action, which he obviously declined.”

He added, “There’s a lot more to the story that Jenni has not released yet. We’re thinking about releasing background information so that people can get a better picture of the crap that he’s trying to do and what these pictures truly represent.”

Oh just release them already!

According to reports, Playgirl is offering Rob Kardashian a sum of $45,000 to pose nude for the publication. When asked about whether or not the magazine was also interested in Scott Disick, Playgirl rep Daniel Nardicio laid it down for us.

He said, “While most people assumed we’d be interested in Scott, my interest actually lies in the adorable Rob Kardashian. Rob is a perfect example of the classic Playgirl model, and we’d be proud to have him join the ranks of other quasi celebs to strop for Playgirl.”

IDLYITW reports:

Rob is being offered a cool $45,000 to get naked, but you might say it’s kind of a, er, package deal considering it also includes some help getting into shape. “I’d bring him to NYC to work with my trainer for a few weeks though, as he looks like he could use a few weeks prep before the shoot,” says Nardicio.
