If you’ve missed last night’s performance episode of American Idol, then jump over to our recap!
On last night’s show, it got down to the wire as the top three performed their picks, Jimmy Iovine’s song choices, along with the judges’ choices. Here is the breakdown:

Beyonce mentored the contestants for the show last night and also premiered her new video for Run The World (Girls). Contestant Haley Reinhart also fell during her performance of Led Zeppelin’s song, What Is And What Should Never Be. On a good note for her, she got right back up and went on with the song, barely missing a beat.

‘American Idol’ Final Three Live Performance Recap 5/18/11
by Roberta Ferguson on May.18, 2011, under articles

Tonight on American Idol, we’re down to the top three! Viewers will have to decide between Scotty McCreery, Haley Reinhart and Lauren Alania. Idol favorite James Durbin was ousted on last week’s show in a shocking elimination. Read our full recap here.
Beyonce is premiering her new video, Run The World (Girls) video on the show tonight and she is also mentoring the contestants during tonight’s show.
Round One
Scotty is singing his favorite song first, which is Lonestar’s Amazed. Beyonce called him a “cutie pie” and said, “That’s m,y boy!” He is doing a great job and we’re sure someone is going to tell him that he’s “in it to win it”. Randy? J-Lo? He is definitely going to be the one to beat this season.
Steven said that Scotty got angry and kicked the song into next week and took the song up a notch. Jennifer said he has grown since the beginning of the season. She said it was a great way to start the show. Randy said it was a great song choice and it’s an amazing song. He said there were a couple of pitchy spots and commented “That’s money.” (continue reading…)
Star Magazine: Angelina Jolie Caught Brad Pitt With The Nanny
by Jessica LeFevre on May.18, 2011, under articles

Star magazine has become good at trying to generate some controversy surrounding Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, so this latest magazine cover doesn’t really surprise us.
According to the tabloid, Angelina caught Brad with the “Jen look-alike” nanny! And wouldn’t you just know that they’d figure out some way to put Jennifer Aniston’s name in there?!??
In a recent interview, Brad talked about knowing that he wanted to have a large family, after hanging out with friends whose families were larger. He said, “I know it seems extreme from the outside, but I’ve always kind of operated this way. When I know, I know, and why mess around?”
He went on to reveal, “I just decided then if I was ever going to do it – this left some indelible mark on me – if I was ever going to do it, that’s the way I was going to do it.”
Given that knowledge, we’re going to go ahead and call BS on Star’s report right now. What do you think?
Zsa Zsa Gabor Hospitalized, In A Coma
by Jessica LeFevre on May.18, 2011, under articles

Screen legend Zsa Zsa Gabor has fallen into a coma, after being rushed to the hospital yesterday!
Her husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt confirmed the news, saying that she was taken to a Los Angeles hospital yesterday for emergency stomach surgery. He has revealed that she has been unresponsive since around 2AM this morning.
She was taken to the hospital yesterday where doctors had to perform emergency surgery on her to fix a “major infection in her stomach”, which was caused by a feeding tube.
We pray that she gets well. This is such sad news. We’re keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers, Zsa Zsa! Stay strong!
Jennifer Lopez To Return For A Second Season Of ‘American Idol’?
by Lydia Harris on May.18, 2011, under articles

Jennifer Lopez signed a deal with American Idol for a whopping $12 million, but that was only for this season of the popular talent competition. Will she renew her contract for another season???
The finale of the show is only a few weeks away, so we’re curious if the singer turned judge will decide to return to the show. Sources have revealed that the answer to that question is yes!
Due to her involvement with the show’s boss on her own reality television show, she’s said to be giving it another shot, sitting in the judge’s chair. A source said, “She knows what Idol has given her, but she also knows how to work it to her advantage. She’s been around the block, so to speak before and knows how to negotiate. I’d estimate there’s a good 80%-90% likelihood of her returning as judge next season.”
Will she try to up the ante, though? Twelve million is a lot, but she’s probably going to ask for more. What do you think? Is having J-Lo on the show enough of a draw for viewers to watch? Or will Idol be dead once The X Factor makes its debut?

POLL: Was The Right Couple Eliminated On ‘Dancing With The Stars’?
by Roberta Ferguson on May.18, 2011, under articles

Last night’s Dancing With The Stars saw the elimination of professional dancer Karina Smirnoff and her partner Ralph Macchio. Upon our examination of the comments from our recap on the show, some thought it was unfair to oust the actor from the Semi-Finals show.
On Monday night’s show, Ralph and Karina performed the Argentine Tango first, scoring them a total of 25 points. For their second dance, they scored 23 points for their Salsa, which wasn’t as bad as the judges made it out to be. Bruno Tonioli even insulted Karina’s choice of attire, with a terrible comment. Afterward, they were pitted against Hines Ward and Kym Johnson for the first round of the newly implemented “Winner Takes All Cha Cha”.
Our friends at CelebDirtyLaundry made the suggestion that perhaps the judges were trying to rig the competition. We were thrown off by the addition of the “Winner Takes All Cha Cha”, considering that it put Chelsea over fan favorite Ralph with that extra fifteen points.
So, since the voting from the public didn’t come into play on Monday night’s show, do you think that the judges had their favorite to be in the finals? Do you think it was right of them to put Ralph up against Hines? Or would it have been more fair if Ralph went up against Kirstie? Let us know your thoughts!

In Touch Weekly: Kate Middleton Can’t Get Pregnant
by Jed Eckert on May.18, 2011, under articles

In Touch Weekly’s latest cover features the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton and Prince William with a story that reveals “she can’t get pregnant”.
Their story features “Will & Kate’s Baby Heartbreak” with a “royal doctor” confirming that the Duchess cannot conceive a royal heir. Yes, this “devastating news” would “rock their marriage” if it were true. Somehow, I don’t think that the tabloid has a snitch on the inside of Kate and William’s doctor’s office.
In addition to all of that heartbreak, it appears that they can’t adopt a baby, either. Heartbreak all around! Oh, In Touch, you’ve created so many fictitious babies for Jennifer Aniston, yet you couldn’t find it in your heart to give one to Kate? Come on.
In this issue, we’re also treated to Brad Pitt and Angelina fighting over a woman, along with Charlie Sheen threatening Ashton Kutcher, and of course, Jessica Simpson’s $1 million wedding.
What do you think of the cover? Are they full of it? I guess we’ll find out if Kate conceives, Brangelina divorces over a woman and Ashton winds up assaulted by a warlock.
