Not only has both Sarah and Bristol Palin written books, now they are actively seeking out trademarks for their names. Bristol is coming out with her memoir, Not Afraid Of Life: My Journey So Far, where she says her ex-boyfriend, Levi Johnston, cheated on her. She also claims that she was drunk on wine coolers when they first had sex.

Now, we’ve learned that the mother and daughter team are trying to trademark their names. The two have applied for the trademarks and so far, their applications have not been challenged. That could possibly be because no one wants to claim the names and sound utterly stupid. Just a hunch.

Sarah Palin seeks a trademark to protect her name, or “mark,” for business and advertising, elections, entertainment engagements and for “providing motivational speaking services in the field of politics.” Bristol Palin’s application says she does motivational speaking “in the field of life choices.” One benefit to trademark protection is using the U.S. federal court system to sue for infringement. Government at work!

Why are these people famous in the first place? Sarah stepped down as Governor after losing out the Vice Presidential bid and her daughter is famous for getting knocked up at the age of seventeen. It happens to girls all of the time, yet this twit is now a household name for it. It doesn’t make sense, don’t you think?

Way to bash your heritage, Kim Kardashian – We’re sure your father would be so proud!

To illustrate our points in this post, we’ve included a before and after photo just so you can see what Kim looked like before she *didn’t* have plastic surgery. (Uh huh.)

Kim says that she has perfected a pose that stops her nose from looking “too Armenian”. She has Armenian from her deceased father, Robert Kardashian’s side, but says that she tilts her face to minimize the look.

She said, “I went to a plastic surgeon and said ‘Give me the works!’ to see if I could get my Armenian nose corrected and he said he wouldn’t do it as I didn’t need it. But in some photographs it looks a little too Armenian, so you’ll notice that I always keep my face tilted down to stop the shadows.”

Why lie? People can obviously tell that you’ve had something done. Don’t be ridiculous!

Still, even though she got turned down, the doctor offered to do the surgery on her sister Kourtney. She added, “Funnily enough, the plastic surgeon said he’d do my sister Kourtney’s nose, even though she was only there to hold my hand. It was very funny!”

A plastic surgeon who turns down money for a surgery because someone doesn’t need it??!? Unheard of. If that was the case, most of Beverly Hills would be old and saggy looking by now. Elective procedures, moron. Does she think we’re stupid???

If you thought Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner would be down on his luck for too long, think again. Apparently, since being tossed by the wayside by his former fiancee, Crystal Harris just five days before their wedding, he has already moved in his former girlfriends, Karissa and Kristina Shannon.

Hef dated the twins, along with Crystal, prior to presenting her with a ginormous ring and asking her to marry him. The twins then left the mansion, but have now returned.

I guess Hef needs some comforting in his time of need. He tweeted, “Crystal did an interview with Ryan Seacrest this morning to explain everything, but I still don’t have a clue. I didn’t see any of this coming, but I’m glad things went wrong before the marriage instead of after. Live & learn. The one who has been the most supportive is Anna. She didn’t see this coming either, & she’s Crystal’s best friend. This was going to be my wedding day, but life is full of surprises. After all is said & done, staying single is probably for the best.”

Indeed! It sounds like Crystal wasn’t the right one for him anyways. Now he just seems to want some arm candy to show off to people. We can’t really blame him. And Karissa is single again, too, so it seems to make sense.

Good for him. It sounds like he was in the relationship for love and she just led him on to make her musical dreams come alive. Oh well, Hef is right, live and learn, right?

The villain on this season of The Bachelorette, Bentley Williams, may just have to return to the show to apologize to the star, Ashley Hebert!

We’ve already heard that it wasn’t going to be the last of Bentley that we’d see this season, so here’s his way back in to mess with her some more. He obviously wasn’t attracted to her and definitely wasn’t there for the right reasons, so why even bother?

His father Gregory said that it’s not like his son to be mean and he should redeem himself. Gregory said, “My son needs to apologize!”

He continued, “I’m sure people think he’s a bad guy, but he’s not. He’s not cruel or mean. If Bentley knew that Ashley’s feelings were hurt, he would want to apologize to her. Anytime someone has a chance to redeem themselves, they should.”

He certainly does need to apologize! It looked like he took pleasure in telling her lies and we can’t just chalk that up to the editing, can we? He came off as a jerk, plain and simple. He wasn’t there for Ashley, he was there for Bentley.

Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits are still together, but there’s one thing about her that he doesn’t exactly care for….her new reality show!

Paris just started her new show, The World According To Paris, on the Oxygen Network. Cy doesn’t seem to like it, and it might be good for him, because the show debuted to less than stellar ratings.

A source said, “Pairs loves and respects Cy very much. He has been through a lot with her. But sometimes it’s hard on their relationsip because he’s not used to this lifestyle, the media and being on the show.”

Rightfully enough, Cy doesn’t want his daughter involved in the media circus that seems to follow Paris everywhere she goes. The source continued, “Cy is very upset with ‘The World According To Paris’. He felt that way too much of their private life was shown. When he signed on to do the show, he had no idea the cameras would be so invasive.”

I’m sure that the cameras will be there to film all of the drama. Do you think he really doesn’t like the show? Or are they releasing statements like this one to drum up some viewership? A lesson from Kim Kardashian: Drum up the drama and people will watch.

We shall see, right?

Reality star Kim Kardashian says that she wants her new fragrance to evoke memories for its wearers. She revealed that she made the new perfume by capturing the essences of her family’s favorite flowers and bottled them up to create an intimate fragrance.

She said, “To me, fragrance is really intimate. I collect fragrances and when I spray a favorite scent it automatically takes me back to a certain time or memories from years ago, so I wanted to do the same for others. I wanted to take all of my favorite memories from years ago and put them in a bottle. So I took my dad’s favorite flower, which is gardenia, my mom’s favorite flower, which is tuberose, and mine, which is jasmine, and made sure they were the top notes in my scent.”

She went on to say, “The end result is light enough to wear during the day but very voluptuous. I like to stick to one fragrance and wear it for a long time, day and night, so it was important that I found my signature scent.”

Do you think this will be her last fragrance? Somehow I doubt that…she is competing with Paris Hilton, right?

Now that Crystal Harris has officially jilted Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner, he is getting a little bit of revenge.

Since he really had no way of stopping the July issue of the magazine with Crystal’s headline, “Mrs. Crystal Hefner”, he’s slapping a sticker on it!

Hef took to his Twitter account to share the above photo, saying, “Recent events call for a special sticker on the July cover. Look for it on newsstands.”

He also has been commenting that he’s received an outpouring of support from his ex-girlfriends and Playmates. He said that Crystal talked to Ryan Seacrest and explained everything, but said he still doesn’t have a clue.

Poor guy. We were sure that he’d think about going back to Holly already. I thought they made a better couple, considering his tastes and lack of caring about the age difference.

What do you think of Hef’s cover alteration? Were you surprised that Crystal was only in that relationship to promote her music career? We’re boycotting her music at this point, primarily because if it were good, people would’ve been singing her praises already. Yes, we’re of the mind that if she had any talent, she wouldn’t have needed to use Hugh Hefner to launch herself. What do you think?

Isn’t Star magazine ever going to get tired of showing the same people over and over on the cover of their issues? Seriously, it’s either Angelina Jolie or Jennifer Aniston. They never tire of making stuff up, do they? While we are firm believers that everyone has their secrets, we’re pretty sure they don’t have a fly on the wall at the Brangelina house.

According to the tabloid, Angelina and Brad had a secret trial separation. In addition to that, there has been some “cheating”, of course with men AND women. Because when all else fails, you can always call into question the ever present bisexual rumors surrounding Angelina.

Another bombshell that they’re attempting to drop is that Angelina was “held hostage with a gun to her head”.

Plus, they’re offering eleven never before seen family photos.

Is this something that you’d pick up from the store? Or are you tired of them basically rehashing all of the same news every week? Perhaps they should really start with some truthful reporting? Maybe make a call to Angelina’s rep for a real story?

Casey Anthony is on trial in Florida for the murder of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee. Since, her attorneys have said that Casey was the victim of abuse at the hands of her father and brother, a claim which both of them deny.

The defense has said that Caylee drowned in the family pool and Casey got her dad to help cover it up. Today, the prosecution in the case rested, after presenting a lot of testimony supporting their case.

Casey’s attorney put in a motion with the court to have to case dismissed, but the judge denied the request. Chief Judge Belvin Perry said, “These are strictly questions for the jury to decide. The state has presented substantial competent evidence for this jury…to decide this particular issue.”

I think that they are just trying to throw anything out there that would give the jury reasonable doubt not to convict her for murder. If there is some doubt of what she allegedly did, then she may not have to face the death penalty.

The court has been recessed until 9AM tomorrow morning. Stay tuned for more updates on the murder trial, as they are made available.

It appears that Crystal Harris did a little more damage than she may have wanted to when she left Hugh Hefner five days before they were set to get married. The new issue of Playboy magazine features Crystal on the front cover, wearing Hef’s signature smoking jacket and his captain’s hat, with the title, “America’s Princess: Introducing Mrs. Crystal Hefner”.

In addition to that, the Lifetime Channel was set to film the wedding for a television special. Reportedly, Crystal was looking for a huge payday and was going to leave him at the altar this Saturday right in front of the cameras. She was looking to get a $500,000 payout for that, but she didn’t have any luck.

A source said, “Crystal wanted to ditch Hef at the altar. Her plan was to walk up the aisle and say she couldn’t go through with it. The wedding was to be filmed for a reality special, and her refusal to marry him would be a sensation. She was looking for a tie-in deal of around $500,000 for the exclusive ‘I ditched Hef at the altar’ interview. While there was interest, Crystal didn’t get an offer anywhere near half a million.”

She is just a terrible person for doing this to him like she did. Hef should just marry Holly. What do you think? And on a side note, if a store near you happens to have the newest copy of Playboy, save us a copy — it might turn into a collector’s issue!
