Kate Gosselin’s TLC reality show, Kate Plus 8, has been given the axe and Kate herself has said that she’s not done with television.

So, fans of hers thought that the natural next step for her would be to take on the role of the Bachelorette! Sure, she’s single…but she’s got eight kids! How’s she going to hole up in a mansion with 25 eligible bachelors with eight munchkins missing their mother, or even worse, take them with her?

She even hinted that perhaps a dating show might be the way to go. She tweeted, “I can’t wait2have the chance2challenge myself again w future endeavors!…And maybe even some dating??!!”

Don’t count on it, Kate. The creator of the Bachelor, Mike Fleiss, said no freakin’ way. Actually, he said, “Kate Gosselin? Sounds like a perfect fit for Bachelor Pad. or, H8R.”

What he should’ve said was, “Kate Gosselin? Does anyone wanna tell me who that is? Oh wait, she’s got HOW many kids? Umm…no. No, thank you. Issue a press release, divert the question, but this broad is not getting anywhere near my show. Don’t make me look like a jerk, either. Don’t mention the kids. Thanks.”

Kim Kardashian’s wedding to Kris Humphries on Saturday is all the rage with the tabloids, so naturally, Life & Style magazine is no different!

Even though there were a reported thousand people invited to Kim’s big day (including paparazzi?), apparently there were fifty names that got cut from the wedding ceremony!

Reportedly, due to space restrictions, Kim was forced to uninvite fifty people from her guest list, only days before she’s set to walk down the aisle. A pal of Kim’s said, “The fire marshal got involved. Once the fire department learned about all the TV equipment that’s going to be inside the space — the lights, the cameras and the production crew – Kim was told she had to cut the guest list by fifty people!”

Life & Style reports:

Though there were unforeseen bumps along the way, Kim is sure to get the magical day she’s always dreamed about with four custom-designed pairs of shoes from Christian Louboutin and two dramatic designer gowns by family friend Vera Wang. And guests who did make the cut will toast to the newlyweds’ love with more than 720 bottles of chardonnay, rosé, merlot and cabernet, courtesy of Malibu Rocky Oaks Wine, an insider tells Life & Style.

To add to the lavish details, Kim’s beauty prep has consisted of several consultations at Beverly Hills Nail Design to try out shades of pink polish and test-driving a darker hair color for the big day. “Before the wedding, we plan to glaze her hair once or twice again,” colorist and Goodform co-owner Rebecca Friedman tells Life & Style.

“Kim’s definitely a calm bride,” she adds. “She’s just really, really excited.”

The wedding will be part of a two-part special that will last a total of four hours on E!. Are you interested in Kim’s wedding?

If you were going to tune into the Dancing With The Stars premiere on September 19th, hoping that you would see Jersey Shore star Snooki competing for the mirror ball trophy, then you’re going to be sadly mistaken.

Tommy Lee has said that he said no to the show, with a quickness. Reportedly, they’ve already signed Rob Kardashian and possibly Queen Latifah, Kristin Cavallari and Christina Milian. There were rumors that Chynna Phillips also signed on for the upcoming season, but we haven’t heard any confirmation on that, as of yet. But there’s one person you can count out of the dancing competition, and that’s Snooki.

She took to her official Twitter account to deny the rumors that have been floating around. She tweeted, “I love watching Dancing with the Stars but I am not apart of the cast ! Sorry Tweedos”.

Can orange oompa-loompa midgets dance, anyways? That’s what I’d want to know. You know they would try to instill some iota of class and she’s probably not going to have any part of that!

In a new interview, Disney starlet Selena Gomez says that she would never change for a guy she’s dating again!

The singer/actress is currently dating teen singer Justin Bieber, but says that she won’t let her guy influence what she does anymore. Apparently, she has learned the hard way?

She admits to once letting a boyfriend’s likes and dislikes influence her behavior, but once her relationship was over, her family was pleased.

She said, “I wasn’t myself for a year. I think that was really damaging. I felt like it was me who was always trying to be perfect for him. Everyone around me hated him but I didn’t listen. I think I had to go through it because now I’m the strongest I’ve been. I dare someone to try and change me again.”

She went on to reveal, “I always dressed nice. I don’t think he ever saw me in sweatpants — and I love sweatpants. I’d always be well-mannered and go to his favorite restaurants or whatever. There was a point where I lost myself completely. I didn’t smile as much, I didn’t laugh as much. I wasn’t a goofball. I didn’t get up and dance like I usually do.”

She added, “And when that one ended, I didn’t know where I was. But I got it back and was really happy. My family were happy to have me back.”

Good for her! Let’s hope Justin never tries to change her!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie raise six children together, along with maintaining their ultra-successful movie star careers….how do they do it?

A source said, “The children are always playing, jumping on each other and sharing fun moments. They share a special bond.”

People magazine has more:

Leading the pack: oldest son Maddox, 10, who “is almost like a teenager now, the way he understands things,” says another source. “He’s grown up very quickly.”

But his younger siblings are rapidly growing up, too. Six-year-old Zahara and her 5-year-old sister Shiloh are especially close, while 7-year-old Pax “has become more independent in the past year,” says an insider. And with twins Knox and Vivienne now 3 – they help pack their own suitcases! – the family is settling into a lower-key, if still decidedly adventurous, rhythm.

“Now that all the children are older, things have calmed down a bit in the household,” says the source. “There’s a great family dynamic right now.”

Can you believe that these children have traveled more in a month than the average person does in a year? That’s what having oodles of money gets you! But they are adorable, too, right?

Reality star Kim Kardashian isn’t officially walking down the aisle until August 20th, but OK! magazine has the jump on all of the other tabloids with their “Collector’s Issue”.

Kim and Kris Humphries are making it official on Saturday and we’ve heard that People magazine scooped up the wedding photos for a cool half million dollars….but that doesn’t mean other tabloids can’t try to market the event, right? Especially, because it’s likely benefiting Kim!

Is this a cheap shot, really? I mean, she’s still got three days before the wedding. Are they only trying to sell magazines here? Or do they really have exclusives that we aren’t privvy to, yet? It’s possible, considering how far in advance E! must film Keeping Up With The Kardashians….

Yesterday, TLC made the announcement that they would not be renewing Kate Gosselin’s reality show, Kate Plus 8. Instead of caring enough to write about it then, we spent all of our time between pondering how many plastic surgeries Kate’s had to contemplating exactly why she is famous.

Still, believe it or not, some people were shocked by the news that her show is going the way of the dodo. Were you?

She spent all day yesterday on Twitter, talking to her 34,373 followers. (Which, coincidentally, isn’t a whole lot in the grand scheme of things…)

Still, Kate’s not doing the morning show circuit crying about losing the show. She’s whining about it for hours and hours, in between her updates about running and what she’s having for breakfast.

She took to her Twitter to give her followers a positive message about the show’s cancellation. She got up this morning and tweeted, “Good morning!It’s a new day!Despite r challenges,we must forge ahead putting r best foot forward!It’s all about perspective!!! Hav a good 1!”

Charlie Sheen’s Two And A Half Men character, Charlie Harper, is said to be going out with a big bang. Reportedly, Charlie is going to get offed by a train in Paris! It was described as a huge “meat explosion”.

But one thing’s for sure, Charlie’s not upset that his character is meeting his maker. He said that he’s just fine with it. In fact, he’d be insulted if they’d given him a less dramatic exit. Now that he’s said this, will Chuck Lorre go in and say that Charlie Harper choked on a potato chip? Now that would be hilarious, don’t you think?

Charlie said, “Listen, I get it and I kinda knew they would do it this way. It frees the show up for the second phase and that journey. I can say, ‘Okay, that’s it then, they murdered me with a train, these are the breaks.’ Yes, the crazy train theme continues. Listen, I’m honored, did you read what I said about it? I said I’m happy to be terminated in such a grand way, that it took something as large and violent as an oncoming train to terminate my character. Anything less would have been an insult!”

Bradley Cooper was all set to play Eric Draven in the reboot of The Crow, but has since had to drop out! He was a good choice, considering his level of hotness, but he’s no Brandon Lee circa the original movies. I mean, he’s cute, don’t get me wrong, but Brandon was good looking on a more sinister level. Agreed?

Reportedly, the filming of the movie has been thrown into jeopardy after Bradley was forced to drop out due to scheduling conflicts. Even though Bradley was set to re-enact Brandon’s famous and last role, he was already contracted to start work on a movie called Silver Linings. In addition to that, he’s going to be taking a role in Paradise Lost, so he’s dropping out of The Crow.

Dude, do The Crow. If they find someone to replace Bradley, it’s going to suck. There aren’t a lot of good choices out there for this type of role, so Bradley needs to jump on this one. Reportedly, Mark Wahlberg and Channing Tatum are now being considered for the lead role. Shoot us now.
