A Casey Anthony Interview Is Being Shopped For $750,000

A Los Angeles based TV producer by the name of Scott Sternberg is currently shopping around an interview with “Murder Mom” Casey Anthony — for the sum of $750,000!
Casey has been laying low since July 17th, when she was acquitted of murdering her two-year-old daughter Caylee. She has been living in Florida, while completing the terms of her probation for check fraud charges.
A lot of outlets have already come forward to say that they would not pay for the opportunity to air an interview with Casey. ABC, CBS and NBC have already declined a chance to interview her.
The Hollywood Reporter has more:
Further complicating matters is that while the interview would likely be a ratings hit, it is not likely to be a moneymaker since it would be difficult to get advertisers to support a program that featured Anthony.
“It will get very good ratings,” muses one cable source. “But who would want to put their ads in that kind of show?”
Indeed, sources at MSNBC say that after the network covered July’s verdict, executives there were inundated with thousands of angry e-mails from viewers promising to boycott MSNBC if Anthony were granted a platform.
“The backlash would not be worth it,” says another cable executive.
