Ashton Kutcher Signs One Year Contract For ‘Two And A Half Men’

It looks like Chuck Lorre is really hedging his bets signing Ashton Kutcher on to replace Charlie Sheen on the hit show, Two And A Half Men. After we heard that Ashton is getting paid a lot less than the warlock, we’ve also found that he has only signed on for one year!
According to those familiar with the situation, Ashton has only signed up for one year. In addition to that, the network has only licensed the show for one additional year. So, if CBS renews the show for further seasons, then they are going to have to figure out what they’re going to do with Ashton — or not.
Both CBS and Warner Bros. want to get at least two or three more years out of “Two and a Half Men,” according to people close to the situation, meaning that big negotiations still lie ahead.
A representative for Mr. Kutcher didn’t return requests for comment, nor did CBS.
Mr. Kutcher will be well paid for a season’s work, earning roughly $20 million for a full season of “Two and a Half Men,” which spans roughly 22 to 26 episodes, according to the people familiar with the situation. That includes roughly $750,000 per an episode and additional fees.
