Blake Shelton Would Throat Punch Someone For Kelly Clarkson

Country music singer Blake Shelton stepped in when Kelly Clarkson was attacked for her political opinions. When she told her Twitter followers that she was supporting Ron Paul, half of them attacked her with messages and hateful comments.

She told her followers that she would vote for him if he was the party’s candidate. I would vote for Ron Paul, too, if I was 18. So you’re not alone, Kelly.

On a few of her social networking sites she said, “I am really sorry if I have offended anyone. Obviously that was not my intent… I like Ron Paul because he believes in less government and letting the people make the decisions and mold our country. That is all.”

Later she added, “Man my eyes have been opened to so much hate tonight. If y’all ever disagree with something I say please don’t feel the need to attack me. I will listen to what you say and any articles or viewpoints you have when you say it with respect…”

Blake Shelton immediately came to her defense, saying, “@kelly_clarkson I love you!!!! I’ll listen to your view points anytime. And I really wouldn’t mind throat punching someone for you either!!”

She replied to him saying, “@blakeshelton thanks :)”

CLARKSON’ EYES WERE OPENED TO SO MUCH HATE??  Ron Paul is hate personified.  That is a sorry statement & very revealing of Clarkson’s superficiality and downright stupidity.  And Shelton had a typical hick redneck reaction that he will “throat punch” someone for her.  Of course he had to jump on the publicity bandwagon to try to attract some attention to his non star status.  There are the same people who attack people like Matt Damon & Ben Affleck or Steven Speilberg or Barbra Streisand, George Clooney, etc for taking a public political position. They are small minded hypocrites who can’t think outside their far right wing little circles.

Of course you dont practice hate yourself as evidenced by your “intelligent” response. So if someone has a difference of opinion, they must be superficial and stupid, right? Whats the purpose of freedom if we we cant express it? BTW, Ive spent the last 19 years (and counting) of my life defending those principles while serving in the U.S. Army. What have you done?
