Dancing With The Stars Recap - Week 9

It’s week nine on Dancing With The Stars and we’re down to our top four contestants. Welcome to the Semi-Finals! After Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus made their exit on last week’s show, we were left with Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke, Ricki Lake and Derek Hough, Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy and J.R. Martinez and partner Karina Smirnoff. Who’s going to win the Mirror Ball trophy? It’s anyone’s guess!

If you’ve missed last week’s show, you can read our recap here. If you want the short version with just the scores, check out our sister site, Tragicomical.

All in all, Len Goodman was right when he said that it was time for Nancy to go home. America obviously agreed, because when it came down to it, she was sent packing.

On tonight’s semi-finals episode, the remaining couples are dancing three dances! Here’s who’s doing what, as it happens:

This DWTS season will definitely be my last as a viewer. Have watched it since the beginning and always enjoyed it until now. Tonight was the last straw, I have suspected that the program became “rigged” for some time, now believe it to be mainly for the ratings and not for the performances. Time for these judges to go – - – especially Carrie Ann. Tonight Carrie Ann gave Hope a 7, Rob a 10 and Ricki a 9. Really Carrie Ann, you are too into yourself to be fair.  The judges are all a little arrogant but you, Carrie Ann, top them all.
I have a suggestion for the owners of DWTS, put Maks as a judge next season. He knows and understand dancing better than the 3 you have now. Then I just might watch your program again!!!

Time for the judges to be replaced. Can’t the network understand they are destroying DWTS?? They need to be more professional and stop the insulting with their arrogant remarks. By the way, why is Rob K still on the show??? Very interesting and suspicious to the viewers like myself.

Just watched DWTS tonight and it is very simple to predict the winner and the final 3. My choice for the final 3 would be Ricki, J.R. and Hope; however it is plain to see the judges have their own “scripts” and have already decided on J.R. , Rob and Ricki. Their winner is already J.R. no matter what the viewers votes are (if in fact there really are “viewers votes”. I now believe this entire “competition”?? to be decided from the beginning. Chyanna & Christie should have made it to the final 3. Their elimination was fishy!!!

I am a fan of this show. I think the dancer are fantastic, specially Maks!! However, the three judges seem to adore Derek and everything he does even when his partners (older ladies) constantly complaint about injuries and pain and yet some how always get the “10″ Even in the annoying case of Rick and the loosing weight, they keep saying how graceful her movements are. I think there is a strong favoritism toward Derek without a question. They dislike Maks because he voices his opinion.
