Dancing With The Stars Recap - Elimination Results 11/15/11 - Top 3 Finalists Revealed!

It’s getting down to the wire on Dancing With The Stars! As of Monday night’s performances, we are down to the final four — but after tonight, there will only be three! It’s on to the Finals, so which dancers have what it takes to win the Mirror Ball trophy? It’s anyone’s game!

Here’s a mini-cap of who did what on last night’s show, along with links to the videos of their performances:

Hope Solo & Maksim Chmerkovskiy – Paso Doble / Argentine Tango – Points: 49
J.R. Martinez & Karina Smirnoff – Paso Doble / Argentine Tango – Points: 56

We mostly felt sorry for J.R. because he was dancing with an injury and you could really tell that he was in some serious pain. But — he’s still a fabulous dancer — and a true inspiration.

The fact that Hope Solo started running her mouth to Carrie Ann Inaba about how Maksim Chmerkovskiy was smiling — might just have signed her exit slip. My guess is that viewers don’t exactly like people bad-mouthing the judges. Hope has lasted so long because of Maks, in my humble opinion.

We’ve predicted that the contestants going to the finals would be Ricki Lake, J.R. Martinez and Rob Kardashian — but we could be surprised. We’ll have to watch and see!

    excuse me, but hope solo was also in pain. she had shoulder surgery not long ago, and has a number of anchors holding her shoulder together. she has to work through the pain just as much and had to have shots in her shoulder to help her deal with the pain.

      You are both absolutely right, Hope was in some serious pain.  I, too, hope that I can stare at Maks’ fine self for another episode…After all, they’ve already gotten rid of the eye candy that is Tristan MacManus….  But with the judge’s scores so low, it doesn’t appear that they’ve got a chance to make it through to the finals. :(

        I agree with all the comments about Hope and Maks being singled out.Heck she was in pain as well as JR but seems as though the judges were really easy and had sympathy for JR and not so much for Hope. Just cause she seems to be able to handle her pain better does not mean she should be judged differently. I will not watch it next year,was barely able to watch it this year I cannot stand CarrieAnn.done with DWTS!!!

      Whatever, she still had NO RHYTHM! She looked like and awkward teen trying to dance. She is a great athlete with a mouth…whoopie.  Good riddence. And Maks will be lucky if he is there next year.  He may have run his mouth too much this year.  The judges do what they are supposed to do, and that is JUDGE. If you don’t like it? then get off the show.

    Hope has lasted this long due to Hope fans.  When she and Maks go home tonight it won’t be because people didn’t like her talking back to Carrie Ann, but because the judges scored them so low it’s almost a mathematical possibility to beat anyone. No contestant has ever overcome a differential as large as theirs. They could get more votes than anyone and still go home because they have to pull more votes by a huge margin thanks to the bogus Cha Cha relay.

    Sorry I can’t stand CaryAnne and I have had a difficult time watching her without throwing up. Last night she proved herself to be a disgusting classless biiiootch. I won’t watch another season if she judges.She doesn’t judge she gets personal and she should no longer be a judge. my whole family stopped watching last season and didn’t watch at all this season because of her.

      OMG I thought it was just me. Last night was a perfect example of how the judges try to manipulate the winners. I’m fed up too. Can’t watch anymore.

    Everyone has to face it, Hope just isn’t as good as the others.  Plain and simple.  I don’t know why she expects to get perfect scores when she’s not that good.  She has improved but you’ll never mistake her for one of the pros.  Rikki and JR are REALLY good and Rob has really improved and he becoming a contender.

    Carrie Anne railroaded Max and Hope, its no surprise. She has been out for Max for quite a while now and I cant stand her anymore. She has lost my respect over the way she has acted this past season and I am sad to say that a truly dedicated and talented couple had to suffer at the hands of her childish behavior.

    Yeah this is bs…the judges knew who they wanted in finals to begin with so no matter how good her dance was or better than another celebrity(JR chacha and paso…sorry) Hope wasn’t going on to finals. The Judges did the same last year with their scoring for Ralph Macchio in the semifinals. HOPE SOLO WILL ALWAYS BE A CHAMPION TO ME. She showed great improvement to me, same as Rob, the judges just didn’t like her opinions. Which is what they were opinions, and everyone is ENTITLED th their opinions. Carrie Ann can suck it. LONG LIVE MAKSOLO!!

    Just face it people, Hope Solo sucked.  I have nothing against her…I like her as a person, but she was just NOT a good dancer.  She deserved to go home.  Her dances last night were really bad…..therefore earning those bad score made sense!!! Jeez.

    It was so annoying for me to hear Hope and Maks talk back to the judges last night. “They have wanted me out of this competition since day one” Um?? No. I remember them praising her during the first couple of weeks when I thought she was awful. Her competitive side is showing it’s ugly side a little too much. It is just a fun, silly show about dancing and she can’t dance, she should just accept it gracefully. Then again, she is the least graceful person on that show so I can’t be too surprised….

    I’m sorry, but I’m sick and tired of Hope’s attitude. She is undeniably a fine athlete, but she simply doesn’t have the grace she needs to win a ballroom dancing competition. A soccer game? Absolutely. But neither her dancing nor her personality are graceful enough for ballroom dancing-she’s got a mouth on her that won’t quit. She mouthed off about her coach and got kicked off the team, she mouths off about the judges on DWTS regularly. They’re not going to put up with that forever! Of the 4 remaining couples after last night, I believe she was clearly the dancer with the least talent. And off she went.

    Did anyone doubt it would be Hope and Max? They dared to talk back to the most rude, crude, insensitive judges on earth! The judges had it in for them from then on ( if not way before), The judges treat pele like crap and then act pompous when they are not cowtoed to! It was midnght and time to change all three judges or the show will fail very soon!

    The Judges are out of Control!  Carrie Anne asked for Hope and Maks to get upset!  She put out the bait.  So Wrong Carrie Anne.  Judges should not have favorite pros or Stars!! And it is obvious they do!

    I don’t care for the Kardashian ensemble, but Rob has considerably improved and did a very good job last night. Clearly RIcki and J.R. (when healthy) are the class of the competition – so realistically, these three deserve to be in the finals.

    But, exclusive of Max, there has been a bit of a cat fight going on between Hope and Carrie Ann which finally has come to a head. Hope tried…I think Carrie Ann got cur from the Kindergarten soccer team at an early age – she is still obviously traumatized.

    This Hope Solo girl could not dance. It’s a wonder she lasted as long as she did, but that’s all due to Maks. She should have been voted off a long time ago. I got tired of her playing the victim-role and whining that the judges showed favoritism; no, they were giving an honest opinion about her awful, unsexy dancing skills. She just couldn’t handle the feedback. Maks should have won w/ Mel B, Laila, Brandy, and Kirstie (people who deserved to win!). I love me some Maks and want him to finally win, but w/ someone who actually can dance and deserves the win!

    First of all Hope Solo wasn’t a great dancer. She was ok. The judges were judging based on what they saw. They actually offered her constructive criticism. Hope can neverbe as good as the rest. Don’t mouth off to the judges. It’s disrespectful and classless. She is a good soccer player but not a terrific dancer. Everyone else took the criticisms with grace and class, she was the only one who kept fighting them. She is full of herself and needs to have an etiquette class on manners lol. She came this far coz she had a decent partner. But Maks is full of himself. He doesn’t deserve the win they are both whiny and bitchy lol.

    Sorry folks but Hope Solo was simply not that good.  Max is a passionate guy and gets hot headed on occasion – frustration no doubt because he’s always paired with someone who doesn’t have it to go all the way. He’d like to win and thus far has eluded that mirror ball.  I hope next season, if he remains on the show –  cause he might just take himself out of the game - I hope he gets a partner who can and will go to the finish.  JR’s got to win!  A man to really look up to – he’s heroic in so many ways.

    Max should not of disrespected the judge’s and tryed to control his mouth. That is why he is still the dancer and they are the judge’s.Just a poor loser.If I had of been in the judge’s chair he would of gotten his arse booted off a few episodes ago.

    Carrie Ann IS personal this year and quite snarky in her judging, but she is also right on the technical dance aspects which is why I think they keep her despite her crap attitude with the women contestants (I might be the only one but she tends to pick mostly on girls in my opinion). I love Maks, but he lets his mouth affect how he trains and talks to his partners after  going off on the judges and it hurts him and his partner each year. If Hope went this far then I think that Nancy should have gone before Chaz in the learning department and he should have had Hopes place too because he actually tried harder and wanted it more for himself and for the acceptance than his ego or pride or sense of entitlement and the way all 3 Judges talked to and about him was disgusting. Im no Kardashian Brand fan, but Rob has gotten loads better and he is better than Hope is at this stage and I find myself cheering him on. Personally I want J.R to win, he is such an inspiration even my husband who hates the show is rooting for him AND he is a natural dancer and has proven himself over and over. Ricki Lake is good too, but for some reason I just cant get behind her which is odd because I have always been a fan of hers but it just doesnt click for me on this show.
