Giulana Rancic Talks Double Mastectomy Scars In People Magazine

Brave TV host Giuliana Rancic talked to People magazine about her upcoming double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery.
She said of the scars that she’ll have as a result of her surgeries, “I think scars tell such an incredible story. I’ll always look at them and think, ‘Wow, I made it through that.’”
She revealed that she still gets shocked over the scary cancer diagnosis that she received. She said, “Usually it’s 2 in the morning, and I’ll turn around from Bill so I don’t wake him up, and I just cry. I sob and think, ‘How did this happen?’”
She is determined to get through this, though, adding, “My breasts have never defined me – and now they never will.”
Her surgery is scheduled for December 13, 2011. We wish her the best of luck!
