Gwyneth Paltrow has starred in the movie Country Strong and has sang some songs on Glee and sounds surprisingly well — so it’s not really a shock that she’s on the prowl for a record deal. What’s more surprising is that it’s taking her this long to land a contract!
The GOOPtastic one’s rep has confirmed reports that the actress is still seeking the perfect deal so that she can launch herself as a singer, after talks with Atlantic Records broke down.
Reportedly, Atlantic and she had a disagreement over money, which caused the negotiations to fall through. Her rep says that she’s still considering signing a deal!
Her rep said, “Atlantic was not the only company pursuing her, and she still has not decided if she wants to record an album…it is still something she is considering.”
Do you think Gwyneth should sign a record deal? Did you enjoy her performances? Let us know your thoughts!
