You really know that the world has gone to crap when Justin Bieber gets an entire street named after him. He’s only 17-years-old and yet some folks think that he’s important enough to get this honor. What a crazy world we live in!

As it turns out, it all happened because of an 11-year-old girl named Caroline Gonzalez. She competed in a Facebook competition to become mayor of Forney, Texas, for one day. So her first order of business was renaming Main Street to Justin Bieber Way.

When she was asked why she’d chosen to rename the street, she said, “Because I really like Justin Bieber, I like his music and I like him. I thought, why not have a street in my hometown named after my favorite singer?”

I can’t lie. If I was her age and had the opportunity to name a street after my favorite band, I would do it. We’d be taking a stroll on Def Leppard Avenue, right passed Joe Elliott Court on our way to Hysteria Drive.

The upside? The street was only renamed for one day. So, we only have to really start worrying when we start calling our kids Frito and watching shows called Ow, My Balls.
