Kim Kardashian Addresses Her Divorce

Kim Kardashian wants all of us to know that her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries was not a sham. And — she’s hurt by all of the insinuations that she profited mega-tons of dollars from her wedding.

She took to her official website to say:

First and foremost, I married for love. I can’t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show! I share so much of my life on a reality show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest decision.

Blah blah blah…and there’s more:

I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed in to something too soon. I believed in love and the dream of what I wanted so badly. I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn’t get off when now I know I probably should have. I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn’t know how to and didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.

And because everything in her life is not built from profit, she added:

There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this.

    This whole divorce in 72 hours is ridiculous. Kim is on her way down at this point and I don’t think there is anything she can do after this. Her true colors are coming out now. She has no substance and no personality, just looks and a lot of money. Nobody cares anymore. She could have at least tried and waited a year to stay married before divorcing him. Now she just looks like a joke. Who does that? Who admits that they got married b/c they didn’t want to let people down? She’s got no backbone. I’m married and I admit it is hard at times but it’s a commitment you make. She is a selfish brat and no one is going to be good enough for her. I don’t know how anyone can take this girl seriously. She prances around with all her money and her nice things and pretends to have problems. It’s simply hilarious. How about some real problems? How about all the women in America get divorced b/c of differences with another after a couple days? She just shit on marriage. The sick part is I bet she thinks she is like the new Elizabeth Taylor. We all know that’s what she thinks she is. I have an idea. How about you don’t get married if you can’t handle it and waste people’s time and money!  This girl is not going to be considered a hot commodity for much longer I don’t think. That’s the price you pay for always trying to be in the public eye. Especially when you are like her and have nothing else to offer, not even a real personality!

    I am so disgusted with this situation that I will not watch the show again. There is a serious problem with your maturity and values if you marry someone and then say…I’ve given this serious thought. I would have thought that a marriage was given serious thought! Grow up!!! And give back the !@$% RING!!!!!!!!!

    just curious if she ever considered counseling to see if they marriage could work?
