Michael Jackson Manslaughter Trial: No Verdict Just Yet (UPDATE: VERDICT IS IN!)

The Michael Jackson manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray will go into its second day of jury deliberations tomorrow. The jury has yet to reach a verdict in the case, and we are anxiously awaiting the outcome.
The jury first started deliberations in the case on Friday, after final closing arguments were given by both sides. The Prosecution referred to the Defense’s expert witness, Dr. White, as giving “junk science”. The Defense insisted that Dr. Murray did not kill Michael Jackson. They tried to make the case that Michael overdosed himself while Dr. Murray was out of the room.
Still, we believe that he was negligent in providing Propofol to Michael in his bedroom. Dr. Murray was also negligent in that upon learning of Michael’s addictions, he didn’t refer the singer to a sleep doctor or refuse to take him on as a client.
We know that if it wouldn’t have been Dr. Murray, it would’ve likely been another doctor…but this could have been prevented with a simple 911 call when Dr. Murray found MJ not breathing.
What do you think of the case? Stay tuned, we’ll be covering this story when the jury reaches a decision.
UPDATE: A verdict has been reached as of 11:01 AM PST today. The decision is expected to be read within two hours. Stay tuned, we’ll be covering the verdict live, as it’s read!
UPDATE: He’s been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. VERDICT HERE.
